General Description of Project for which Consultant will Provide Services. The City will issue service orders for Consultant to conduct training and organizational development services on as-needed basis for supervisors and employees for the purpose of enhancing employee development, increase organizational effectiveness, and improve community outcomes.
General Description of Project for which Consultant will Provide Services. The Project at the RWF includes the rehabilitation of four (4) mesophilic digesters to operate as Temperature-Phased Anaerobic Digestion (“TPAD”) digesters, six (6) Dissolved Air Flotation Thickener (“DAFT”) tanks to operate as co-thickening units, a new primary sludge screening facility, two (2) new electrical buildings and associated electrical equipment, an external elevated gas piping system, gas flare system, and miscellaneous civil works. Construction for this project started in August 2016 with a projected substantial completion in March 2022. The objective of this Service Order No. 12 (“SO”) is for the Consultant to provide additional mesophilic and TPAD testing, startup and commissioning support services for the Project. This SO consists of the following tasks. Task No. 1: Project Management Task No. 2: Inspection/Start up and commissioning assistance for Contractor’s substantial completion associated with Mesophilic Digestion Task No. 3: Startup and Commissioning Assistance associated with Transitioning Process to TPAD
General Description of Project for which Consultant will Provide Services. The RWF secondary treatment process consists of two (2) separate biological nutrient removal (BNR) treatment systems, BNR1 and BNR2. Process air to BNR1 is supplied by six (6) engine driven blowers and three (3) electric driven blowers. Process air to BNR2 is supplied by five (5) electric driven blowers. The existing blowers are located throughout the RWF in three separate buildings: the Blower and Generator Building (Building 40); the Secondary Blower Building (SBB); and the Tertiary Blower Building (TBB). The work for the Blower Improvements Project (Project) includes the replacement of the internal combustion engines with electric motors. The Project also includes switchgear and motor control center modifications, instrumentation and control enhancements, mechanical modifications to the process piping, and rehabilitation of structural, architectural and civil components of the buildings. As part of the Project the four (4) SBB blowers will be decommissioned and demolished. The objective of this Service Order No. 3 (“SO”) is to have the Consultant provide engineering services during construction, start-up, and commissioning of the Project. This SO consists of the following tasks: Task No. 1: Project Management Task No. 2: Engineering Services During Construction Task No. 3: Inspection/Start-Up and Commissioning Assistance The Consultant shall be required to coordinate with other CIP projects and use City-provided templates and CIP Design Guidelines where applicable.

The City of San Xxxx (“City”) currently uses a SharePoint-based Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Portal (“CIP Portal”), including dashboards and reports, to track CIP projects at the San Xxxx Santa Xxxxx Regional Wastewater Facility. Consultant shall assist the City with transitioning the CIP Portal to an in- house Office 365-based solution (“O365 Portal”) that is optimized and operates on current technology. To prepare for this transition, Consultant shall conduct a detailed assessment on the current CIP Portal environment, collect applicable data, and verify the scope and assumptions for the transition to the O365 Portal. Project start date shall begin within two weeks of this Service Order execution.

The City of San José’s Municipal Water System (SJMWS) is participating in a direct potable reuse (DPR) feasibility study led by San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and their consultant (Xxxxxxx). The study will evaluate opportunities to develop regional alternative water supplies which also benefit dry year supply reliability. Xxxxxxxx Technologies, Inc. (Consultant) will support SJMWS’ participation and review of the DPR feasibility study effort led by SFPUC/Xxxxxxx. _
General Description of Project for which Consultant will Provide Services. Consultant will provide as-needed services to assist the Operations and Maintenance Section of the Wastewater Management Division of the Environmental Services Department (“ESD”) with various ongoing and future projects being delivered as part of the capital improvement program (“CIP”). These services may include but are not limited to review and comment on design documents; technical support for startup, commissioning, and process shutdown activities for various wastewater treatment processes; specialized operating assistance, technical support and troubleshooting; staff training on various unit processes.

This project involves the construction of an approximately 2,500 sf bioretention cell in the Airport’s Economy Parking Lot (Lot 1) to treat stormwater runoff from a drainage area of approximately 1.4 acres. This project will serve as Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit Provision C.3 compliance for the Interim Facility Project. Under this Service Order #33 the Consultant shall provide the construction administration services outlined in this Attachment A. Consultant shall commence work under this Service Order #33 upon receipt of City’s Notice to Proceed (“NTP”).
