Health and Safety File Sample Clauses

Health and Safety File. The Contractor’s health and safety file is separate from the Contractor’s health and safety plan. The Contractor’s health and safety file is progressively populated with checks and inspections, as indicated in the Contractor’s health and safety plan. Any drawings, designs, materials used, structural integrity testing and any other similar information applicable to the project will be placed on the Contractor’s health and safety file. The Contractor’s health and safety file must be available on request and should be handed over to the Depending on the nature of the works and detail of the information on the Contractor’s health and safety file,
Health and Safety File. On an assignment of the whole or any part of the Premises, the Tenant is to hand to its assignee the original of any health and safety file maintained by the Tenant in respect of the whole or such part of the Premises under the CDM Regulations.
Health and Safety FileThe Buyer acknowledges that it has inspected the health and safety file for the Registered Property maintained by the Seller for the purposes of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (and their predecessor Regulations) and that it is aware of the nature and purpose of that file.

The Health and Safety File is a file or other permanent record containing information on aspects of the construction project - which will be necessary to ensure the health and safety of any person who may be affected by the construction work. The Contractor shall ensure that all other contractors open similar files in accordance with the Regulations. The Contractor shall appoint a suitably qualified person to prepare the Health and Safety File and to keep it up to date for the duration of the contract. The Health and Safety file shall include at least the following information: All Documents as required by the Act and Regulations All reports of inspections and audits All non-conformity reports All working drawings, calculations and design where applicable Detailed list of sub-contractors with contact details List of all hazardous materials used and stored on site with Data Sheets and Materials Hazard Data sheets All Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments carried out for the project All Health and Safety Plans for the project. All method statements Minutes of all relevant meetings Incident records, including investigations and results Record of all appointments under the Regulations Annexure B is a list of the records to be kept on site. The Health & Safety File shall be handed over to the Client on completion of the contract. It must contain all the documentation as set out above, or as instructed, as well as any handed to the Contractor by any contractors together with a record of all drawings, designs, materials used and other similar information concerning the completed project.
Health and Safety FileThe Contractor shall issue to the Authority's Representative within 20 Business Days of the preparation thereof a copy of each and every health and safety plan and health and safety file (as such terms are used in the CDM Regulations) to be prepared by it pursuant to the CDM Regulations and of every amendment or update made to such file during the period of this Agreement.

The Contractor’s health and safety file must be available on request and should be handed over to the Supervisor, prior to the Completion Date (Refer Construction Regulations 5(7) and 5(8)).
Health and Safety File. The Consultant’s health and safety file is separate from the Consultant’s health and safety plan. The Consultant’s health and safety file is progressively populated with checks and inspections, as indicated in the Consultant’s health and safety plan. Any drawings, designs, materials used, structural integrity testing and any other similar information applicable to the project will be placed on the Consultant’s health and safety file. The Consultant’s health and safety file must be available on request and should be handed over to the Client’s representative, prior to the Completion Date as described in the Construction Regulation 7(1)(e) of the OHSA. Depending on the nature of the service and detail of the information on the Consultant’s health and safety file, e.g. asbestos work where there is a requirement for medical surveillance of workers who will be exposed to asbestos, it is recommended that the Consultant keeps these records for forty years, in terms of Asbestos Regulations 16(f) of the OHSA. Where the Consultant’s employees / workers are exposed to hazardous chemical substances and where a medical surveillance was required, it is recommended that the Consultant keeps these records for thirty years, as stipulated under the Hazardous Chemical Substances Regulations 9(1)(f) of the OHSA. The Consultant ensures that all other medical surveillance requirements in terms of the OHSA, where applicable, comply with for the Consultant and subcontractor organisations. The Consultant’s health and safety file is audited by the Client’s representative or his delegate, to ensure that work is being carried out and the necessary checks and inspections are conducted in accordance with the Consultant’s plan. The minimum contents of a health and safety file are indicated in 32-136[10].
Health and Safety FileSubject to clause 9.9.1, following completion of the Tenant’s Works the Tenant shall liaise with the planning supervisor (if any) employed by the Landlord for inter alia the Tenant’s Works as to any necessary updating of the Health and Safety File and supply to such planning supervisor all information, drawings and details of the Tenant’s Works as reasonably required by such planning supervisor and use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that such updating is completed within four weeks of completion of the Tenant’s Works.
