Health Care Review Committee. The Committee shall be responsible for determining the most cost beneficial health care and related programs. To carry out this task, the Committee shall obtain and review claims and usage data and provide input to proposals and contracts relating to health care, employee assistance program, long term disability, and other insurance programs. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly and be chaired by Human Resources and staff support is provided by Human Resources. Membership shall consist of nine members with two (2) designated by each bargaining unit and three (3) designated by the City. Each member shall be responsible for supporting and educating their bargaining unit members or exempt employees in regards to full committee recommendations. Committee recommendations shall be submitted to the City Manager and the bargaining units for approval.

Health Care Review Committee. The Employer has created a "Health Insurance Committee" which consists of the following: One
Health Care Review Committee. The bargaining unit agrees to participate in the Township Health Care Review Committee ("Committee"), and designate one representative to be a member of the Committee. Said Committee shall consist of the following individuals and/or representatives: one member designated by each full-time bargaining unit in the Township, each department head or their designee, Township Trustees or their designee, a non-management representative and the Township Fiscal Officer or her designee. The purpose of the Committee is to review health and/or dental care proposals which provide comparable coverage under the current Township plans. The Committee shall have the authority to direct the Township's insurance broker to obtain proposals, and the authority to obtain proposals from other insurance brokers. Further the Committee shall have the authority to decide, by a majority vote, the health and/or dental insurance coverage options available to the Township's full-time employees. In the event that the Committee is unable to decide upon coverage options through majority vote, the Township Trustees will select among the coverage options voted upon to determine the Township's full-time employees' health and/or dental care coverage.
Health Care Review Committee. The County and the Association agree that their representatives on the Health Care Review Committee may enter negotiations in Fiscal Year 2011 and/or Fiscal Year 2012 for the purpose of replacement of the Triple Option Plan with a Preferred Provider Option and renewal or replacement of the existing HMO’s. Said negotiations shall not alter the existing contractual provisions regarding the subsidy/premium splits for the existing Triple Option Plan and HMO’s or their replacement. Said negotiations shall also include dental, life and vision plans. The negotiations shall not alter the existing contractual provisions regarding the subsidy/premium splits for dental, life and vision plans, or the amount of life insurance. The parties understand that such negotiations shall not affect the other provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding, which shall remain in effect in accordance with Article 20.3 – Duration.

  • Health Care Committee A Health Insurance Committee shall be established and maintained with at least three (3) representatives appointed by the Association and three (3) representatives appointed by the Superintendent. The purpose of the Committee shall be to make recommendations designed to optimize the quality of health care available to District employees and improve cost effectiveness of the health insurance program. Committee members shall review data, work with the District insurance consultant, collaborate on making recommendations for changes in plan design, review bids by insurance companies, and ultimately consider recommending plan changes to their respective constituencies.   • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues.   • JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE In order to encourage open communication, promote harmonious labor relations, and resolve matters of mutual concern, the parties agree to create a joint labor- management committee. The committee will be governed by the following principles:

A Statewide Labor Management Committee consisting of not more than five (5) members selected by the VSEA from among bargaining units represented by VSEA and not more than five (5) members selected by the State shall meet periodically to discuss a mutually agreed agenda which may include methods of improving labor relations, productivity, safety, and health problems of a continuing nature, or other problems which have an impact on conditions of employment; provided, however, these sessions are not for the purpose of discussing pending grievances or for collective bargaining on any subject.

  • LABOR/MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES Section 1. Labor/Management Committees The parties recognize that the holding of periodic meetings for the exchange of views and information contributes to the effectiveness of the labor/management relationship. Therefore, the parties shall establish Labor/Management Committees (LMC), in accordance with the provisions in this Article, for the purpose of addressing matters of concern in the areas of personnel policies, practices, conditions of employment, and other matters affecting employees. Each LMC will be co-chaired by one member from labor and one member from management.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • JOINT LABOUR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE 18.01 A Joint Labour Management Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest. To ensure its effectiveness the Committee shall be separate and apart from the grievance procedure.
