Hospitalisation. Where a Subsidised Resident is admitted to hospital for treatment or to undergo an assessment, we will continue to make payments in full for up to 21 days (or for any longer period that the NASC Service may recommend) in any one of our financial years;
Hospitalisation. In substitution of Clause 20 of the Bipartite Settlement dated 2nd June 2005, with effect from the 1st May 2010, the reimbursement of hospitalisation expenses shall be as detailed in Schedule V to this Settlement.

In addition, the family (excluding the staff) shall be eligible for the same amount of hospitalisation fees per calendar year as the staff. (4) A staff and her family may upgrade her xxxx accommodation, if she so chooses, but she shall have to pay the difference in xxxx charges and hospitalisation fees between their entitlement and the higher xxxx. (5) Where a staff is abroad and requires hospitalisation, the Hospital shall reimburse hospitalisation fees (including xxxx charges) provided the hospitalisation is at a Government hospital in the country overseas. The xxxx accommodation must be equivalent to her xxxx class eligibility. The maximum hospitalisation eligibility is as specified in sub-clauses (1) and (2) above. (6) Notwithstanding sub-clauses (1) to (4) above, a staff who joins the Hospital after 1 January 1995 shall co-pay 10% and 30% of the total claimable medical expenses incurred by herself and her family respectively. (7) For the purpose of this clause, the definition of a family is as per clause 37(7) of this Agreement.
Hospitalisation. If a member is hospitalised for COVID-19 treatment, coverage is in place for all hospitalisation and treatment relating to this condition, up to the benefit limits stated in our table of benefits.
Hospitalisation. If during the Operative Time the Insured Person sustains an Accident resulting in Bodily Injury which within two years is the sole and independent cause of the Insured Person being admitted to hospital on the recommendation of a Medical Practitioner the Insurer will pay £50 per full 24 hours up to a maximum of 104 weeks any one Insured Person while they are a hospital in-patient. If the Insured Person is a hospital in-patient for a period of at least 7 consecutive days the Insurer will pay the Insured a one off payment of £500.

Hospitalisation. (a) Employees requiring hospitalisation as recommended by the Bank’s doctor or government doctor or specialist referred to, may be accommodated at a Bank-appointed private hospital or if the employee so chooses at a Government Hospital in the following classes of accommodation:- (i) First class xxxx in a Government hospital or Second Class in a Bank- appointed private hospital. In the event where there is no Second Class xxxx in the Bank-appointed private hospital, the employee may be admitted to a 4-bedded xxxx or in the event a 4-bedded xxxx is not available, in a 3-bedded xxxx or a 2-bedded xxxx until a bed in a 4- bedded xxxx is available. (ii) If an employee is hospitalised for emergency treatment in any other hospital other than the Bank-appointed private hospital, the liability of the Bank shall be limited to equivalent first class rates in a Government Hospital. (iii) In the event where the employee chooses to be admitted to a private hospital other than a Bank-appointed private hospital, the liability of the Bank shall be limited to equivalent First Class rate in a Government Hospital. In such circumstances, the Banks shall not be liable for any transportation costs incurred under this Clause.

Subject to availability of beds, the benefits are: (i) Nursing Staff (1) Staff with at least 3 months of service are entitled to leave benefits under this clause as follows: Eligibility Criteria Childcare / Extended Childcare Leave Per Calendar Year Family Care Leave Per Calendar Year Staff with child who is below the age of 7 years and qualify for childcare leave under the Child Development Co-Savings Act 6 working days Nil Staff with child who is of or above the age of 7 years but below the age of 13 years and qualify for extended childcare leave under the Child Development Co-Savings Act 2 working days 3 working days Staff with child who is below the age of 7 years and qualify for childcare leave under the Employment Act 2 working days 1 working day Staff who do not qualify for any statutory childcare leave Nil 3 working days (2) Family care leave is granted to a staff with at least 3 months of service to look after unwell spouse, parent or parent-in-law, grandparent or grandparent-in-law, or sick child, including step child and legally adopted child, below the age of 18. Application for such leave must be supported by relevant documents for verification. (3) If the staff has more than one child, e.g. one below the age of 7 years and another above the age of 7 years but below the age of 13 years, the total childcare leave entitlement is still 6 working days in the calendar year. This is in accordance with the Child Development Co-Savings Act. (4) For non-shift staff, leave can be taken on a half day basis. Leave not taken by the end of the calendar year shall lapse without compensation.
Hospitalisation. Employees and employees in training are entitled to take time off when it is necessary for them to be hospitalised with their child under the age of 14. Only hospital stays requiring staying overnight and hospitalisation in full or in part in the home are considered as hospitalisation and are covered by the provision. This only applies to one custodial parent and for a total of one week per child within a 12- month period. The employee must produce documentation for such hospitalisation on request. Payment is made at the rate applicable to time off to care for sick children.
