INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. In the event that the Governor or designee determines that an emergency situation exists and as a result makes a public declaration that an emergency exists or that State offices are closed, the following provisions shall apply:
INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. 1. The President and CEO of the Hospital, or his/her designee, has the option, in his/her sole discretion, to declare an “Inclement Weather Emergency”. The decision to declare an “Inclement Weather Emergency” will be announced on the Hospital’s intranet page, on the Inclement Weather hotline, and/or by any other reasonable means of communication. Once so announced, it is presumed that all employees are aware of the determination. Announcements of closing or “state of emergency” by any federal, state or local governmental agency will not pertain to the Hospital.

The decision to declare an “Inclement Weather Emergency” will be announced on the Hospital’s intranet page, on the Inclement Weather Hotline (telephone), and/or by any other reasonable means of communication. Once so announced, it is presumed that all employees are aware of the determination. Announcements of closing or “state of emergency” by any federal, state or local governmental agency will not pertain to the Hospital.
INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. Chapter 1/Title One employees will be paid for one day when school is canceled. When there is a delayed opening, Chapter 1/Title One employees’ schedules will be modified to insure that their hours of employment are equal to their assigned hours for that day which would conclude by 2:40 P.M.
INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. 1) Less than twelve (12) month employees who work at school sites that are closed due to inclement weather conditions or emergencies:
INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. 1) On days that schools are closed due to extreme weather conditions or emergencies, the administration will make every reasonable effort to notify employees of the closing by 5:15a.m. The district will first post the closing on the district web page and then, notify the radio and television stations of the closing. The robocall phone contact system used by the district for school closings will be programmed so that employees of early start schools will be notified first.
INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. 10.1 In the event that the Governor or designee determines that an emergency situation exists and as a result makes a public declaration that an emergency exists or that State offices are closed, the following provisions shall apply: The Department of Administration shall determine the designated starting time of the emergency. Employees who are either allowed to leave their work place early or are excused from traveling to work shall be allowed to discharge vacation leave, personal leave or sick leave. An employee who elects to discharge sick leave may discharge up to a maximum of two (2) sick days per calendar year for such events. Employees who are required to remain at their place of work or to travel to work shall be compensated at the rate of time and one half for each hour worked commencing at the designated starting time of the emergency as determined by the Department of Administration. Nothing in this Agreement shall negate the practice of granting time off (two hours) for the annual employee outing.
INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. Any employee who is prevented from reporting for work or is released from work early because of a government declared emergency, or because of the closing of the Employer shall be paid in full for work time lost because of such emergency. In the case of a pandemic or long-term emergency event, the Agency may enact the Oxfam Pandemic Preparedness Plan or an appropriate business plan. These plans will not supersede the rights and protections provided by this agreement and to the extent any aspects of the plan are inconsistent with this Agreement, they shall be developed in consultation with the Labor/Management Committee and reviewed as appropriate throughout the duration of the emergency event.
INCLEMENT WEATHER EMERGENCIES. If schools are closed due to bad weather, all scheduled building activities and outdoor facility use are cancelled. Listen to local radio stations for school closings, other broadcast services, and check the district website at xxx.xxxxxxxxx.x00.
