Indefinite Leave. A military leave shall be granted for the period of ordered service plus six months after the unit member honorably leaves military service or is released to inactive duty.
Indefinite Leave. A unit member shall not be entitled to accrue sick leave or vacation benefits during this leave.
Indefinite Leave. 16.9.1 An Indefinite leave of absence without pay, for valid reasons, may be granted to any employee by the employer. The employee's request and the employer's response shall be in writing. Requests for such leave shall be made thirty (30) days in advance of the commencement date, except in unavoidable circumstances.
16.9.1.1 The following criteria will be used to assess requests for indefinite leave without pay:
Indefinite Leave i) Permanent employees may, for valid reasons, be granted indefinite leave of absence without pay upon the recommendation of the Manager or Administrator and with the approval of the Board.
ii) Such indefinite leave of absence shall be subject to review at the end of each completed year.
iii) Employees on indefinite leave of absence shall be required to apply for extensions annually giving proof that original conditions, under which the leave was granted, still prevail.
Indefinite Leave. Employees (except those on Roster No. 1) returning from indefinite leave of absence or indefinite sick leave, will be required to report to their supervisors not later than 3:00 P.M. on the day prior to the day they are to return to duty. Employees on Roster No. 1 must report not later than 1:00 P.M. on the day prior to the day they are to return to duty.
Indefinite Leave. Permanent full-time and permanent part-time employees who access these leaves continue to maintain their positions.
Indefinite Leave. Employees shall be granted Indefinite Leave without pay from their positions upon request for reasons of prolonged illness, injury, or disability. The employee’s name shall be placed on indefinite leave. The Employer may then post and fill that position on a permanent basis. Employees on indefinite leave will be required to apply for extensions annually. Upon conclusion of the leave, the employee’s name shall be placed on a re-employment list, and the employee shall have the rights of a seniority-rated employee to apply for and be considered for any position for which they qualify.
Indefinite Leave. 17.2.1 Definition: Indefinite leave of absence means the relinquishment of a full-time or part-time position, while retaining employment status with the Employer for up to two (2) years.
17.2.2 An Employee may be granted an indefinite leave of absence without pay, without loss of seniority or benefit accumulation, limited to 90 days, when such leave is requested for good and sufficient cause. Such requests shall be in writing and subject to approval by the Employer.
17.2.3 When leave is for one (1) month or less, Employees shall be entitled to earn all benefits except designated holidays.
17.2.4 When Leave is for more than three (3) consecutive months, Employees shall not be entitled to earn increment benefits, after three (3) months only.
17.2.5 An Employee returning from an indefinite leave of absence without pay shall have his/her name placed on the reemployment list.
17.2.6 Employees on indefinite leave of absence shall be required to apply for extensions annually giving proof that original conditions under which leave was granted still prevail.
Indefinite Leave.
21.7.1 A permanent employee may be granted indefinite leave of absence without pay by the CEO or designate.

18.6.3 When leave is for one month or less, employees shall be entitled to earn all benefits excepting designated holidays.
18.6.4 When leave is for more than three (3) consecutive months, employees shall not be entitled to earn increment benefits, after three (3) months only.
18.6.5 An employee returning from an indefinite leave of absence without pay shall have his/her name placed on the reemployment list.
