INJURIES ON THE JOB. 23.1 An employee, who is injured during the performance of his work shall suffer no loss of pay for the time he was required to be absent on that shift to receive medical or first aid treatment.
23.2 An employee, who as a result of an injury incurred in the performance of his work requires medical attention off the work site, and due to the injury, is unable to return to work on that day, shall be paid to the end of the full shift on which he was injured. The Contractor may require that a medical certificate be furnished confirming that the employee was unable to return to work on that day.
23.3 The Contractor shall direct the employee's xxxxxxx or xxxxxxx to gather the injured employee's tools and place them in his tool box and store same in a securely locked facility.
23.4 The employee must report to the Contractor, at the first opportunity, any accident or injury.
23.5 If transportation is required to take an injured employee from the work site to the closest first aid or medical facility, and return following receipt of treatment therefrom, it shall be provided by the Contractor.
INJURIES ON THE JOB. Section 1: An Employee is eligible to receive Workers' Compensation when the Employee has been physically injured on the job, as determined by Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 152.
Section 2: Eligibility for Workers Compensation coverage begins with the date of hire and is not subject to time limitation by the Employer.
INJURIES ON THE JOB. An employee injured on the job, who is taken off the job for treatment will receive pay for the remainder of his scheduled work day if the employee's injury is serious enough to preclude his return to work that day. Where necessary, the Company will furnish transportation as soon as possible for an injured employee to receive medical treatment.
INJURIES ON THE JOB. All employees of the District are protected under the Workers’ Compensation laws of Illinois for injuries arising out of and in the course of their employment. Employees are required to complete an Employee Injury Report online, which may be accessed on the district website under the Human Resources tab. A teacher receiving worker’s compensation shall receive his/her full salary from District 186. In exchange for this amount, the employee shall endorse his/her worker’s compensation check to District 186, and shall have 1/3 sick day per day deducted from his/her accumulated sick leave. ESPs shall remain on the payroll for the first three days after which they receive payment from Workers’ Compensation. INJURIES ON THE JOB. (a) If an Employee covered by this Agreement sustains an accidental injury arising out of his employment which requires immediate medical care off the premises, during work hours, such Employee shall be permitted to obtain medical care at once. He shall be paid his regular wages for the time necessarily spent in going to a physician's office, medical center, or hospital, as well as the time required at such office, center, or hospital, and the time necessarily required to return to the job site. Except in unusual circumstances, this provision shall be effective only on the date of the injury unless subsequent visits, during working hours, are required by Employer's physician.
(b) When it is necessary for an injured Employee to be taken to a hospital immediately following an injury, he shall be taken to such hospital at Employer's expense to the hospital nearest to the job site.
(c) Safe and adequate transportation from a job site following an injury, other than for a minor injury, shall be furnished by the Employer and/or designated agent. The Union shall be notified of all such injuries. If the xxxxxxx determines that someone shall accompany the injured Employee to the hospital, medical center, physician's office, or Employee's home, the Employer and/or designated agent shall select such person, who shall be compensated at his regular rate for such services. If the Employer and/or designated agent fails to select such person promptly, the xxxxxxx shall select such person. The Union, upon receiving notice, shall notify the Employer of the injury.
(d) In the event an Employee is injured in the course of his employment, he shall not be dismissed from such employment because of his injury, nor shall he be dismissed during the period of medical care required by said injury, unless there is no work available with his Employer, or unless his dismissal is due to a condition beyond the control of the Employer. This paragraph shall not obligate Employer to pay Employee while disabled.
(e) PAINTERS' DISTRICT COUNCIL NO. 14 shall be notified by the Employer immediately following any injury falling within the scope of this Article 10, Section 11.

INJURIES ON THE JOB. Each on-the-job injury must be reported immediately to the proper supervisor. In the event of an injury or illness that requires time off from work, medical clearance to return to work will be required.
INJURIES ON THE JOB. Any Employee covered by this agreement who is injured as a result of a work-related accident and is required to obtain emergency medical aid for such injury, shall be reimbursed for the time spent in obtaining this emergency medical aid by his/her Employer. The reimbursement may be at straight time rates.

INJURIES ON THE JOB. 1. Whenever an employee is injured on the job or becomes ill so as to require medical attention, the Contractor shall, on the day of injury or illness, take the employee to a doctor, clinic or hospital and when necessary from the doctor, clinic or hospital to the employee’s home. Any injury or illness requiring an employee to leave the job shall be reported to the Xxxxxxx and the Xxxxxxx shall also be notified as to whether the employee was hospitalized or subsequently sent home or returned to work.
2. If an employee is sent to a hospital or medical doctor as a result of an on-the-job injury, he shall be paid for the remainder of the day, up to eight (8) hours at his straight time rate, upon presenting to the Contractor a written memo from such hospital or doctor stating that because of his injury, he could not return to work on that day.
