– INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES. (a) The Employer agrees to provide all members of the Union with appropriate office space. Best efforts will be made to provide reasonable access to the use of other facilities, services and equipment related to members’ teaching duties and responsibilities (e.g. McMaster University e- mail, photocopying, audio/visual equipment, telephone, private/secure meeting locations). Each employee shall have access to a mailbox or file for mail and the Employer shall ensure that all employees have secure storage space for course materials. Office and instructional materials related to the employee’s instructional responsibilities will be available on the same basis as faculty members in the academic unit. Any difficulties in this area may be brought to the attention of the appropriate Xxxx. If a resolution is not reached, the Union may initiate a grievance in the matter at Step 2 with the Associate Vice-President, Academic. (b) The Employer shall provide Hourly-Rated Sessional Music Faculty with proper and adequate studio space to carry out the duties expected of them and will provide properly tuned and regularly maintained pianos as required in the performance of Hourly-Rated Sessional Music Faculty’s duties. For clarity, the Employer shall not require Hourly-Rated Sessional Music Faculty to use their personal equipment or studio space. It is understood that Hourly-Rated Sessional Music Faculty may choose to use alternate (non-McMaster University) studio space to carry out their duties, subject to the agreement of the Director of the School of the Arts, such agreement shall not be unreasonably denied. (a) The Employer agrees to provide each employee with an email account, Avenue to Learn (or equivalent), and Mosaic access following the return of a signed copy of the letter of Appointment and the completion of the requisite forms. Access will be provided for the duration of the Appointment, or 12 months, whichever is the later. Employees who need an extension of these electronic services may direct a request to their Department Administrator. (b) An employee may obtain a McMaster University library card valid for 12 months by producing their McMaster University Employee Identification Card at the library main circulation desk. In the event that the employee is hired to work beyond the 12 months, the employee’s library card privileges may be extended upon production of a new/subsequent letter of Appointment. – INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES. Rolling Hills Public Charter School’s Principal and staff will determine the school’s library services and how materials will be selected and challenged, based on the American Library Association’s guidelines. The Principal will determine how technology will be integrated with the instructional program and the type and level of technology to be used by students. The school's plans for field trips will be determined by the Principal and staff as appropriate. Parents and the public will have input in the school’s instructional resources through the PFA.

The University shall provide access to facilities, services, texts, and instructional support that is reasonably necessary for NSF to complete their assigned duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to: a. office and desk space, telephone, and answering equipment; b. computer and internet connection; c. training and support for web-based tools; d. storage space; e. office, laboratory, and instructional equipment; f. mailbox and email; g. office supplies; h. text, and/or reading materials; i. photocopying equipment. 2. NSF shall have access to email and online course databases fourteen (14) calendar days before the start of the assigned teaching responsibilities, whenever practicable, but never later than one business day after the NSF begins his or her assigned teaching responsibilities. 3. NSF shall have access to University email in accordance with local campus policies and procedures in effect at the time of separation. 4. To the extent that infrastructure and/or resources are available: a. NSF teaching courses and sections shall be listed by name on the updatable online schedule of classes; b. NSF shall be listed in the campus online directory; c. NSF may be listed on the departmental web site, and may be provided access to their own faculty web page; and d. NSF may be included in physical directories, e.g. building signage, where it exists. 5. The University will fill NSF requests for Teaching Assistant and Reader support, based on department procedures and available resources (personnel and budget).
