International Masonry Institute. SECTION 101. The Employer agrees to contribute to the International Masonry Institute for all hours worked by Employees covered by this Agreement the hourly contribution rates set forth in the Appendices A, B, C, D & E hereof. The payments required by this Subsection shall be made to the International Masonry Institute, which was established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, March 14, 1961, as the successor trust to the predecessor International Masonry Institute (established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, July 22, 1970, as amended November 11, 1988) and/or to the predecessor International Masonry Apprenticeship Trust established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, November 6, 1974.

International Masonry Institute. It is hereby agreed by and between the parties to this Agreement to contribute to a trust fund to be known as the International Masonry Institute Trust Fund. The Local Program Board for Saskatchewan are hereby authorized to do all things necessary including entering into an Agreement with the International Masonry Institute Trust Fund for and on behalf of the Employees and the Union. The Employer shall contribute an amount per hour in accordance with Appendix A and B for each hour worked by each Employee covered by this Agreement and shall remit such contributions to the International Masonry Institute c/o, X.X. Xxx 0000, Xxxxxx, XX, X0X 0X0, together with an Employer Report form provided for this purpose.
International Masonry Institute. The International Masonry Institute is the Union’s International apprenticeship training, marketing, promotion, research, industry development and labor/management relations entity. Each Employer shall contribute the amount stated in the Schedule A accompanying this agreement for each compensable hour of employment by each employee covered under this agreement. The minimum hourly contribution will be 1% of the gross wage and benefit package. Hourly contributions to the IMI shall be remitted to the Masonry Industry Trust Administration, Inc. (a third party administrator)
International Masonry Institute. (1) The masonry industry in the United States and Canada has great and definable needs in the fields of apprenticeship and training, research and development, and labor/management relations which must be met if the industry is to grow and prosper. The parties to this agreement believe that the International Masonry Institute is the most effective and efficient instrument for meeting these needs because it offers the greatest possibility of integrating activities in these program areas in an effective manner and coordination them through a single regional/international system. (2) In order to properly finance IMI programs, the ultimate objective is to provide, through collective bargaining, contributions equal to three percent of the total hourly wage and benefits package. (3) With IMI funding at three percent of the total hourly wage and benefits package from this geographical area, IMI will be able to provide advertising and promotion, research and development, apprenticeship and training, and labor/management relations programs directed specifically to this area. With these principles in mind, the parties agree as follows: (4) Effective November 1, 2017, the contribution to the International Masonry Institute shall be 1% of total package for each hour or portion thereof, for which a covered employee receives pay. (a) Effective November 1, 2018, the contribution to the International Masonry Institute shall be 1% of total package for each hour or portion thereof, for which a covered employee receives pay. (b) Effective November 1, 2019, the contribution to the International Masonry Institute shall be 1% of total package for each hour or portion thereof, for which a covered employee receives pay. (c) Effective November 1, 2020, the contribution to the International Masonry Institute shall be 1% of total package for each hour, or portion thereof, for which a covered employee receives pay. The payments required above shall be made to the International Masonry Institute, which was established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, 14 March 1981, as the successor trust to the predecessor International Masonry Institute (established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, 22 July 1970) and/or to the predecessor International Masonry Apprenticeship Trust (established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, 6 November 1974)
International Masonry Institute. The Employer shall pay all fringe benefits, including vacation, pension, health and welfare, apprenticeship, I.M.I, and dues, for each hour worked by each employee on all work covered by this Agreement. Such fringe benefits will be paid only to the above-mentioned trusts (for retirement, health and welfare, apprenticeship, and I.M.I.), to the Union (for dues check-off) and to the agent designated by the Union (for vacation benefits). The Employer agrees to contribute to the International Masonry Institute for all hours worked by Employees covered by this Agreement the hourly contribution rates set forth in the Article II, Section 3 hereof. The payments required by this Subsection shall be made to the International Masonry Institute, which was established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, March 14, 1961, as the successor trust to the predecessor International Masonry Institute (established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, July 22, 1970, as amended November 11, 1988) and/or to the predecessor International Masonry Apprenticeship Trust established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, November 6, 1974. Section 7. Should any of the above Funds be discontinued for any reason, the contribution to such discontinued fund shall be added to wage rate. Section 8. The gross wages shall include all contributions to the Vacation Fund and Union Administration Fund. The Employer shall apply all appropriate payroll taxes to the gross wage before deducting the hourly contributions for Vacation and Union Administration for payment with the other contributions. Section 9. The Employer shall be required by the Health & Welfare Trust fund Trustees to submit a monthly contribution report whether they had any employees for the month or not. In the event the Employer fails to submit the monthly contribution report form by the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following, the Employer shall be liable for liquidated damages in the amount of twenty dollars ($20.00) or ten percent (10%) of the delinquency, whichever is greater. The Employer may be relieved of the requirement of submitting a monthly contribution report from by applying for "inactive status" with the Trustees. Unless relieved of this liability by the Trustees, the Employer shall be liable for submitting a monthly contribution report form for as long as said Employer is maintained on the "active status" list of employers by the Trustees. International Masonry Institute. (1) The International Masonry Institute is covered by the Agreement and the Declaration of Trust dated March 14, 1981 as the successor trust to the predecessor International Masonry Institute (established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust, November 6, 1974) in Washington, D.C. The Employer agrees to pay into the International Masonry Institute Promotion Trust as reflected in Article VIII. Payment shall be reported and paid monthly on the forms supplied to the Employer for this purpose. (2) The undersigned parties do hereby ratify, adopt and confirm the agreements and Declarations of Trust of the International Masonry Institute Promotion Trust. (3) In compliance with the International Masonry Institute Trust Agreement, it is understood that all EMPLOYERS signatory to this AGREEMENT, either individually or through their membership in a contractor association, shall be eligible to serve on the IMI Board of Trustees.

International Masonry Institute. Established under an Agreement and Declaration of Trust dated March 14, 1981, Employer hereby agrees to be bound by and to said Agreement and Declaration of Trust as though he had actually signed the same. Employer hereby irrevocably designates as its representatives on the Board of Trustees, such Trustees as are now serving as Employer Trustees, together with their successors. The Employer further agrees to be bound by all actions taken by such Trustees.
