Joint Council. The Joint Council shall consult on any suggestions or requests made by the Executive Council or the Union with respect to working conditions applicable to employees generally or to any particular class of employees.
Joint Council. 1. A Joint Council is hereby established. It shall oversee the fulfilment of the objectives of this Agreement and supervise its implementation. It shall meet at ministerial level at regular intervals, not exceeding a period of two years, and extraordinarily whenever circumstances so require, if the Parties so agree.
2. The Joint Council shall examine any major issue arising within the framework of this Agreement, as well as any other bilateral, multilateral or international question of common interest.
3. The Joint Council shall be composed of representatives of the Parties at ministerial level, in accordance with the Parties' respective internal arrangements and taking into consideration the specific issues to be addressed.
4. The Joint Council shall establish its own rules of procedure.
5. The Joint Council shall be chaired alternately, from one meeting to the next, by a representative of the European Union and a representative of the Republic of Cuba, in accordance with the provisions laid down in its rules of procedure.
6. In order to attain the objectives of this Agreement, the Joint Council shall have the power to take decisions. Such decisions shall be binding on the Parties, which shall take all measures necessary to implement them.
7. The Joint Council may also make appropriate recommendations.
8. The Joint Council shall adopt decisions and recommendations by mutual agreement between the Parties. This procedure shall apply to all other governing bodies created by this Agreement.

1. The Joint Council shall consist of the Members of the Council of the European Union and Members of the European Commission on the one hand, and Members of the Government of Mexico, on the other.
2. Members of the Joint Council may arrange to be represented, in accordance with the conditions laid down in its rules of procedure.
3. The Joint Council shall establish its own rules of procedure.
4. The Joint Council shall be presided in turn by a Member of the Council of the European Union and a Member of the Government of Mexico, in accordance with the provisions to be laid down in its rules of procedure.

Joint Council. Certain matters are of such importance in maintaining quality education and high teacher morale that they require continuing study, investigation, and prompt problem resolution. To this end, the parties agree to work through a ten-member Joint Council, five (5) members of which shall be teachers appointed by the Association and five (5) members of which shall be appointed by the Superintendent. The Superintendent of Schools and the UniServ Director may attend at their discretion as ex- officio members. Each party shall have a majority of the voting members from the most recent negotiations. Joint Council shall be a problem-solving body for issues when negotiations are not currently being conducted.
1. Meetings shall be held at least monthly during the school year, unless the co-chairpersons agree to fewer meetings. Minutes will be taken and distributed to all participants.
2. Matters investigated or acted upon shall relate to the school system or to individual teacher concerns. Joint Council may act as an alternative body to resolve issues prior to group grievances.
3. Matters which are the subject of an active grievance or which are contained in an active negotiations proposal shall not be considered until the grievance/negotiations have concluded.
4. The Council may appoint various task forces/ committees to report on matters requiring in-depth study.
5. If recommendations for problem resolutions are developed, they shall be reduced to writing and forwarded to the Superintendent for prompt action by the Board as additions to District policy.
6. Matters referred to this body by the terms of this Agreement or by the bargaining team(s) shall be considered promptly. The resulting reports or recommendations, if mutually adopted as a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) or by ratification, shall be binding on the parties and those persons covered by this Agreement.
7. A budget appropriation shall be provided to cover approved operating expenses and, subject to approval by the Superintendent, Joint Council shall determine the distribution of these funds according to its needs and priorities.
8. Joint Council shall recommend the school calendar each year to the Board for consideration. If possible, the Board shall establish the calendar by January 20 of each year for the following school year.

It shall consist of the Chief Operating Officer or designee; the Food Service Director; a Site Coordinator; and, three (3) employees appointed by the Union. The Council will meet at least quarterly to discuss matters of mutual interest including, but not limited to, workplace safety. Joint Council. The PCOAC shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with MOU, applicable state and federal law, and applicable regulations.
Joint Council. 1. The Joint Council shall be the policy-making body and provide policy directives for the Centre.
2. The Joint Council shall comprise designated representative(s) of appropriate senior-level from each ASEAN Member States and China. The Co-chairs of the Joint Council shall be represented by the current ASEAN Chair and China.
3. The Joint Council shall be the supreme organ of the Centre and exercise the powers and functions to:
a) determine the general policies governing the activities of the Centre;
b) approve the plan of operation and work programme concerning the operation of the Centre;
c) approve the annual work programme and the annual budget of revenues and expenditures of the Centre within the framework of the plan of operation and work programme as proposed by the Joint Executive Board;
d) approve the annual report on the operation of the Centre;
e) determine the powers and functions to be entrusted to the Joint Executive Board;
f) approve the appointment of the Secretary-General;
g) consider and approve the expansion of areas of cooperation besides those referred to in Article 1;
h) adopt its own rules and procedure to be the norms and basic regulations for the running of the Centre;
i) decide on the disposal of the property and assets of the Centre in case of the dissolution of the Centre, and on any other matters connected with the dissolution; and
j) decide on and/or approve other important matters concerning the Centre.
4. All the decisions of the Joint Council shall be made by consensus.
