Task ForcesThe Chair, in consultation with the Steering Committee, shall appoint necessary Task Forces to accomplish projects of limited duration.
Task ForcesThe parties agree to the following procedures regarding the establishment and organization of task forces working in conjunction with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. General: ▪ Probation Officers chosen to serve on the task force shall be members of the bargaining unit represented by the union. ▪ Probation Officers shall serve on the task force for a period of up to three years. ▪ It is the philosophy of the parties that the task force position should rotate every three years to qualified officers. Should at the end of the three-year term no applicants apply or it is determined by the employer that the applicants are not suitable for the task force, then the current task force Probation Officer may reapply for a successive three-year term. ▪ Task force officers will return to their previous position at the end of the three-year term. ▪ Within the three-year term should the employer feel the task force officer has been inappropriately placed on the task force, the employer may return the officer to their previous position and reopen the task force position. Recruitment and Selection: ▪ The employer will advertise open task force positions for a period of not less than ten (10) business days. ▪ Task force positions will be available only to those Probation Officers working in the office which has a task force agreement with the law enforcement agency that has oversight. ▪ Probation Officers interested in serving on the task force shall write a letter of application and submit the letter to their Deputy Chief. ▪ Applicants must have a minimum of four years’ experience as a Probation Officer with the Department of Corrections. ▪ Applicants will not be considered if they are under discipline or on a plan of improvement. ▪ Applicants must be in compliance with all department required training. ▪ Applicants may be required to complete validated physical abilities testing, due to the law enforcement deputized and physical nature of task force assignments. ▪ Applicants will be interviewed by a team composed of the employer’s management for that office and representatives from the law enforcement agency with oversight of the task force. ▪ Probation Officers chosen to serve on the task force shall be by a joint decision of the employer and the law enforcement agency with oversight of the task force. ▪ Should no applicants apply for a newly created task force position, the employer may assign a Probation Officer to the task force. Task Forces. The Superintendent will establish and/or continue the following Task Forces: the High School Task Force, the Middle School Task Force, the Elementary School Task Force, and the Curriculum Task Force. They shall review and address issues relating to education in each of these areas. The Task Forces shall be structured as follows: 1. Members of the task forces will be jointly selected; 2. Unit members will be paid hourly (extension of service rate) for meetings and such other services as agreed upon; 3. A specified scope of work and timeline shall be identified, including maximum number of hours determined by the Superintendent; 4. Shall make decisions using a consensus model. In the event that the group fails to reach consensus, the Superintendent or his/her designee and the Union President will hear the issues. If they fail to reach an agreement, the Superintendent shall make the final decision.

Task Forces. 1. Task Forces are multi-discipline bodies comprised of representatives drawn from RDPO Discipline Work Groups. Task Forces. Each Sponsoring Agency is responsible for recruiting and organizing a Task Force consisting of individuals occupying certain specified positions plus additional support personnel, all of whom have been properly trained with the requisite skills and capabilities required for urban search and rescue operations and/or deployment of the Task Force. A Task Force may be deployed as a single unit or it may be reorganized into teams for purposes of modularized responses for limited or specialized Activations. Members of a Task Force may also be deployed as members of a management or other technical team.

Task Forces. Within EUDAT, the concept of taskforces has been adopted, mainly for organizational purposes and so as to maintain focus in the process of building services. The following sections give the definition of an EUDAT task force, and describe the roles and responsibilities associated with such task forces, and the use of resources from work packages.
Task Forces. (1) In order to achieve and to carry out the Plan of Activities, the Parties shall establish Task Forces not later than thirty (30) calendar days after the agreement on the Plan of Activities that defines such Task Force. (2) The Plan of Activities shall not foresee more than ten lines of activity, for which Task Forces may be established. In case a line of activity requires additional distribution and subdivision, the respective Task Force shall be subdivided in Task Force Groups. (3) Each Task Force shall consist of a team, to which each of the Parties taking part in the respective line of activity appoints one or more team members as decided by the Assembly in the respective Plan of Activities. Substitutes may be appointed as well. Each Party shall have the right to revoke appointment of its team member(s). In such case, the respective Party shall immediately appoint a new member. (6) Meetings of the Task Force shall take place as required in accordance with the Plan of Activities, but not less than once per three months. Meetings may also take place by telephone conferences. (7) The Parties participating in a Task Force shall be in particular responsible for: i) for each planning period, preparing a work plan and budget plan for its line of activity in preparation of the Plan of Activities to be forwarded to the Steering Board and the Assembly; ii) follow-up and report on the use of the Network Budget with respect to this Task Force in general and in respect of the Parties participating in such Task Force in detail and report on any reallocations under viii) of this paragraph; iii) delivery of quarterly reports to the Steering Board on the progress of the Task Force’s activities, not later than on the dates set out for such delivery in the Plan of Activities; iv) preparation of deliverables and of their presentation towards the Commission via the Co- ordinator, satisfying respective reporting requirements; v) preparation of proposals to the Steering Board for new parties to this Agreement and/or proposals for the accession of new parties to the Contract for the purpose of participation in the activities of the Task Force; vi) alerting the Steering Board and the Co-ordinator in case of a delay in the imple...
