Task Forces. The Chair, in consultation with the Steering Committee, shall appoint necessary Task Forces to accomplish projects of limited duration.
Task Forces. The parties agree to the following procedures regarding the establishment and organization of task forces working in conjunction with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. General: ▪ Probation Officers chosen to serve on the task force shall be members of the bargaining unit represented by the union. ▪ Probation Officers shall serve on the task force for a period of up to three years. ▪ It is the philosophy of the parties that the task force position should rotate every three years to qualified officers. Should at the end of the three-year term no applicants apply or it is determined by the employer that the applicants are not suitable for the task force, then the current task force Probation Officer may reapply for a successive three-year term. ▪ Task force officers will return to their previous position at the end of the three-year term. ▪ Within the three-year term should the employer feel the task force officer has been inappropriately placed on the task force, the employer may return the officer to their previous position and reopen the task force position. Recruitment and Selection: ▪ The employer will advertise open task force positions for a period of not less than ten (10) business days. ▪ Task force positions will be available only to those Probation Officers working in the office which has a task force agreement with the law enforcement agency that has oversight. ▪ Probation Officers interested in serving on the task force shall write a letter of application and submit the letter to their Deputy Chief. ▪ Applicants must have a minimum of four years’ experience as a Probation Officer with the Department of Corrections. ▪ Applicants will not be considered if they are under discipline or on a plan of improvement. ▪ Applicants must be in compliance with all department required training. ▪ Applicants may be required to complete validated physical abilities testing, due to the law enforcement deputized and physical nature of task force assignments. ▪ Applicants will be interviewed by a team composed of the employer’s management for that office and representatives from the law enforcement agency with oversight of the task force. ▪ Probation Officers chosen to serve on the task force shall be by a joint decision of the employer and the law enforcement agency with oversight of the task force. ▪ Should no applicants apply for a newly created task force position, the employer may assign a Probation Officer to the task force. Task Forces a. Task Forces may be established, by mutual agreement to investigate specific problems or concerns and seek solutions to these problems or concerns.
b. The number of members shall be mutually agreed to by the Superintendent or designee and the Cherry Creek Education Association.
Task Forces. Each Sponsoring Agency is responsible for recruiting and organizing a Task Force consisting of individuals occupying certain specified positions plus additional support personnel, all of whom have been properly trained with the requisite skills and capabilities required for urban search and rescue operations and/or deployment of the Task Force. A Task Force may be deployed as a single unit or it may be reorganized into teams for purposes of modularized responses for limited or specialized Activations. Members of a Task Force may also be deployed as members of a management or other technical team.
Task Forces. 1. Task Forces are multi-discipline bodies comprised of representatives drawn from RDPO Discipline Work Groups. Other representatives from within and outside of the organization may participate in task force activities to provide appropriate subject matter expertise.
2. Task Forces are responsible for:
a. Implementing the regional strategy and work plan by executing assigned projects;
b. Providing expert advice to the Program Committee on regional capabilities, strategic needs and priorities, and recommended initiatives, policies, and procedures;
c. Developing coordinated, multi-discipline approaches;
d. Developing, and adopting where appropriate, such other policies and procedures as are necessary to ensure effective task force operations and administration; and
e. Monitoring and reporting on the progress of assigned work.
Task Forces. The Superintendent will establish and/or continue the following Task Forces: the High School Task Force, the Middle School Task Force, the Elementary School Task Force, and the Curriculum Task Force. They shall review and address issues relating to education in each of these areas. The Task Forces shall be structured as follows:
1. Members of the task forces will be jointly selected;
2. Unit members will be paid hourly (extension of service rate) for meetings and such other services as agreed upon;
3. A specified scope of work and timeline shall be identified, including maximum number of hours determined by the Superintendent;
4. Shall make decisions using a consensus model. In the event that the group fails to reach consensus, the Superintendent or his/her designee and the Union President will hear the issues. If they fail to reach an agreement, the Superintendent shall make the final decision.
Task Forces. The Board may appoint task forces as necessary to advise it on a variety of accounting matters. Task forces will play an important role in the accounting standard-setting process. They will provide expert views and recommend solutions to issues or problems.
Task Forces. The purpose of these task forces for the duration of the contract shall be to develop plans related to:
Task Forces. The GCS Team and/or the Research & Development Committee can create a task force to study the technical and commercial feasibility of any potential Product Improvement that it deems to be worthy of further consideration. If the task force agrees that there is merit for proceeding with development of the proposed Product Improvement, then the task force shall forward a formal written recommendation to the GCS Team and the Research & Development Committee that outlines the technical and commercial basis for development and the development plan and resource needs. If the GCS Team, in consultation with the Research & Development Committee, agrees that a project has potential scientific and commercial merit, a recommendation to pursue such Product Improvement will be forwarded to the Alliance Management Committee.
Task Forces.
8.2.1. The Department shall eliminate all permanent and/or prescheduled task forces effective immediately. A joint committee consisting of equal representation from the department and the Union will study the task force issue and make recommendations regarding the continued utilization of task forces.
