L ead Officer Assignments. Any post-probationary Deputy Sheriff whom has completed “A Law Enforcement First Line Supervisor Class” may be assigned a lead officer and will be paid hourly base pay equal to that of Corporal pay at the same step the Deputy Sheriff has currently achieved. Lead Officer Pay is only paid the actual worked hours of the assignment. A Deputy Sheriff will only be assigned to be the lead officer in the absence or unavailability of the regularly assigned Corporal or Sergeant. The lead officer pay automatically terminates at the end of the lead officer assignment. The assignment will be made by the regularly assigned Corporal or Sergeant or in their absence by the Sheriff or designee. A RTICLE 10 – CALL OUT TIME A. Any work requirement of an employee on a day when no work is scheduled for the employee or which is not contiguous with the employees scheduled work hours shall be a call out and shall be at least two (2) hours duration and at time and one-half of the regular hourly rate. Work required contiguously with the employees scheduled work hours shall B. The COUNTY will pay for the physical exams required by law if the employee gets his exam from the physician chosen by the COUNTY. However, if the exam is done by a physician of the employee’s choice, the COUNTY will reimburse the employee for the standard amount paid by the COUNTY and the employee shall pay the balance. B. Physical exams shall be taken in accordance with law and shall be scheduled by the employee within 30 days before or after the employee’s birthday. C. The COUNTY shall provide, at no cost to all employees in the bargaining unit, testing for hepatitis (B strain), and vaccines for tuberculosis and tetanus. The COUNTY shall also provide at the time of the physical exam, at no cost to the employee, an aids test if such test is requested by the employee. A. All employees shall receive eight (8) hours straight time for the holidays listed below: B. Any employee who is required to work on a holiday shall receive his/her regular rate of pay for all hours worked plus 8, 10, or 12 hours of pay at time and one-half the regular hourly rate based on the employee’s regularly assigned shift of 8, 10 or 12 hours.   • TEACHER ASSIGNMENT A. No later than thirty (30) days prior to the end of the school year, all teachers shall be given an opportunity to voluntarily fill out preference sheets indicating their preferences, in order of priority, of grade level and type of program on that grade level, with the understanding that where reasonably possible such preferences will be honored. B. Not later than the last work day for teachers in June all teachers shall be given written notice of their assignments for the forthcoming year. Teachers shall be given an opportunity to discuss their assignments with their Principals. If the Principal proposes changes to the assignment which may include transfer to another school, all teachers affected shall be notified promptly. Changes in teachers’ assignments later than the fifteenth day of August preceding the commencement of the school year shall be made only in an emergency situation. An emergency situation shall be defined as provided for in Article I, Section 1.5. C. No change in assignment during the school year shall be made without ten (10) school days notice and discussion prior to the change. D. Any assignment in addition to or in lieu of the normal teaching schedule, during the regular school year, shall not be obligatory but shall be with the consent of the teacher. Such assignments will be given to teachers regularly employed in the school system on a rotating basis.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Other Assignments Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon, the successors and permitted assigns of the parties. Neither party shall assign or transfer its rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other party, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Further Assignments The Seller acknowledges that Ally Auto may, pursuant to the Further Transfer Agreements, sell the Receivables to the Issuing Entity and assign its rights hereunder and under the First Step Receivables Assignment to the Issuing Entity, subject to the terms and conditions of the Further Transfer Agreements, and that the Issuing Entity may in turn further pledge, assign or transfer its rights in the Receivables and this Agreement and the First Step Receivables Assignment. The Seller further acknowledges that Ally Auto may assign its rights under the Custodian Agreement to the Issuing Entity.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Employees on Long Term Supply Assignments Employees completing long term supply assignments may only access sick leave and short term disability leave in the fiscal year in which the allocation was provided. Any remaining allocation may be used in subsequent long term supply assignments, provided these occur within the same fiscal year. Employees employed in a Long Term Supply Assignment which is less than the ordinary period of employment for the position shall have their sick leave and short term disability allocations pro-rated accordingly. Where the length of the long term supply assignment is not known in advance, a projected length must be determined at the start of the assignment in order for the appropriate allocation of sick leave/short term disability leave to occur. If a change is made to the length of the assignment, an adjustment will be made to the allocation and applied retroactively.

  • Benefit; Assignment Subject to provisions herein to the contrary, this Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon the parties hereto and their respective legal representatives, successors and assigns. No party may assign this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other party; provided, however, that a party hereto may assign its interest (or a portion thereof) in this Agreement to an Affiliate, but, in such event, the assignor shall be required to remain obligated hereunder in the same manner as if such assignment had not been effected.

  • TEACHING LOADS AND ASSIGNMENTS A. Should teacher absences necessitate using teachers on preparation periods as substitutes because no eligible substitutes are available, said teacher giving up his/her preparation period shall be paid at the rate listed is Schedule B for each prep period given up to substitute. The staff will be surveyed prior to the end of each school year to determine teaching preference for the next school term. E Because the Board of Education has the statutory duty to educate all children within the boundaries of the school district and those participating in schools of choice, and because the student/teacher ratio is an important aspect of the educational program, and because the number of students the teacher is required to instruct has a direct bearing upon the amount of work required of the individual teacher, the parties agree the size of the individual classes shall be given careful consideration to balance them by the administration. Upon the request of the teacher or association, if educationally appropriate, or economically feasible all options not limited to: balancing class loads, hiring a paraprofessional, or not being able to do anything will be considered. Discussion on whether to do so will be done by the 4th Wednesday count day.

  • BUSINESS STRUCTURE AND ASSIGNMENTS 5.17.1 Contractor shall not assign this Agreement at law or otherwise or dispose of all or substantially all of its assets without the Director’s prior written consent. Nothing in this clause, however, prevents the assignment of accounts receivable or the creation of a security interest under Section 9.406 of the Texas Business & Commerce Code. In the case of such an assignment, Contractor shall immediately furnish the Director and CPO with proof of the assignment and the name, telephone number, and address of the Assignee and a clear identification of the fees to be paid to the Assignee. 5.17.2 Contractor shall not delegate any portion of its performance under this Agreement without the Director’s prior written consent.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal.
