Layovers. The Working Timetable incorporates scheduled running times and layover times considered necessary by the Operator to enable the Services to be operated to at least the Minimum Performance Standards set out in Schedule ID.
Layovers. Where a driver is required to lay over away from his home termi- nal, layover pay shall commence following the fourteenth (14th) hour after the end of the run. If driver is held over after the four- teenth (14th) hour he shall be guaranteed two (2) hours’ pay, in any event, for layover time. If he is held over more than two (2) hours, he shall receive layover pay for each hour held over up to eight (8) hours in the first twenty-two (22) hours of layover period, com- mencing after the run ends. The same principle shall apply to each succeeding eighteen (18) hours, and layover pay shall commence after the tenth (10th) hour. When on layover on Sundays and holidays there shall be a meal allowance of Seven Dollars and Fifty cents ($7.50) for the first meal; Seven Dollars and Fifty cents ($7.50) for the second meal; and Seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($7.50) for the third meal. No more than three (3) meals will be allowed during any 24 hour period. Also, employees shall receive meal allowance each time they are held beyond the sixteenth (16th) hour of the first layover period and after the tenth (10th) hour on subsequent layovers after the first. Driver shall not be compelled to report to work at home terminal until he has had ten (10) hours off-duty time. Whenever any Employer arbitrarily abuses the free time allowed in this Section, then this shall be considered to be a dispute and the same shall be handled in accordance with the grievance procedure set forth in this contract.
Layovers. (a) Road drivers relieved from duty at a terminal or point away from home shall be dispatched on a trip within fourteen (14) hours after time of arrival. Drivers not dispatched in fourteen (14) hours after the time of arrival but held over, shall be paid for each hour of wait- ing time thereafter, not to exceed nine (9) hours in each succeeding twenty-four (24) hour period.
(b) No road driver shall be allowed to work unless he has been off ten (10) hours at his home terminal and ten (10) hours at a foreign terminal.
Layovers. On out-of-town routes requiring a layover period between the hours of 9:00 PM and 6:00 AM and extending beyond three (3) hours excluding the lunch period, the Company will provide suitable lodgings.
Layovers. 1. If a Flight Attendant is scheduled for a layover period of less than fifteen (15) hours (release to report), hotels at or near the airport location shall receive first consideration.
2. A Flight Attendant scheduled to remain on an en-route stop of more than Five
Layovers. Drivers, Chauffeurs or Educational Assistants who have required layovers when they are not scheduled for duties for a continuous period of less than one (1) hour shall be paid at their regular rate for the layover time. They are to remain at their duty station, as determined by the Transportation Director during the layover. When scheduled layovers of one (1) hour or more are reduced to less than one (1) hour by the employee accepting additional work or performing other duties not regularly scheduled, the employee shall still go off the clock except while such additional work or other duties are performed, even when the actual layover time is then less than one (1) hour.
Layovers. Upon agreement of the Union or an individual basis, call times can be adjusted appropriately. The Union will not unreasonably deny requests from Employer to adjust reasonably the call-in times.
1. An additional $25.00 per “manned” camera for manipulating/shading more than six (6) “manned” cameras, except as otherwise stipulated in Appendix C, “Working Conditions.”
2. If there is no Graphics Coordinator, then an additional compensation of $50.00 will be provided to the Graphics Operator.
3. An additional compensation of $25.00 shall be paid to any employee operating camera in any ENG/EFP shoot at a remote site.
4. An additional compensation of $25.00 will be paid for each additional robotic camera over two (2) cameras.
5. Any Employees not engaged as a Camera Operator will receive additional compensation of $25.00 for operating booth cameras for fifteen (15) minutes or less.
6. Employees engaged for Network Sports work shall be paid an additional fee of no less than $25.00 per day, in excess of their regular pay outlined in Appendix A.
7. Employees engaged for News/Entertainment programming shall be paid an additional fee of no less than $50.00 per day, in excess of their regular pay outlined in Appendix A.
Layovers. During the period layover, the Employee is relieved of all responsibility for the vehicle and cargo and is free to come and go as he/she desires. The Employee is in no way regarded to be on duty during such layovers. The vehicle will be parked/secured in a designated secured parking area.
Layovers. If a driver is authorized by the employer to layover, the driver shall receive a flat rate of Twenty- Five Dollars ($25.00) per night per layover, provided he has log time to drive.
Layovers. On out-of-town routes requiring a layover period between the hours of and AM and extending beyond three (3) hours excluding the lunch period, the Company will provide suitable lodgings. On out-of-town routes requiring a layover period between the hours of AM and exceeding three (3) hours excluding the lunch period, the Company will provide suitable accommodation. During the period of layover, the Hourly Employee is relieved of all responsibilities for the vehicle and cargo and is free to come and go as they desire. The Hourly Employee is in no way regarded to be on duty during such layovers. The vehicle will be in a designated secure parking area. Hourly Employees scheduled on out-of-town routes requiring a non- scheduled layover due to Acts of God will be paid at their regular rate of pay for each hour of layover outside their scheduled shift. If a Driver’s driving privileges are suspended or rescinded, the Driver will be moved into a non-driving position, but shall not be guaranteed any hours or be allowed to bump. After one (1) complete year of service for the Company, each full- time and part-time Driver shall have their annual cartage license paid for by the Company. Hourly Employees will be responsible for obtaining the license. Payment will be made the following pay day from the date of receipt of proof that a cartage license has been obtained or applied for. Should the Hourly Employee leave the employment of the Company within the first nine (9) effective months of the license validation period, the original cost of the license will be recoverable in full by the Company on their final pay cheque. Personal Property: The Company shall not be responsible for the loss, damage, or destruction of personal property while such property is on Company premises, in vehicles or equipment, or in use on Company business. Hiring: The Company will provide each Hourly Employee with a copy of the Collective Agreement, at the time of hiring. Hourly Employees’ Lunchroom: The Company will supply accommodations for an Employee lunch- room equipped with a timed microwave oven, if the number of Hourly Employees so warrant. The Company shall allow the Union to provide soft drink, coffee and similar vending machines, on the Company’s premises, subject to the approval of the Company as to location.
