Leave for a Union Position. An employee who accepts employment with the Union or any body with which the Union is affiliated shall be granted a Union leave for up to twelve (12) months in accordance with Article 15.09.

Leave for a Union Position. An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time Executive position with the Union or any labour body with which the Union is affiliated, shall be granted an unpaid leave of absence for the term of office. An employee who accepts employment with the Union or any body with which the Union is affiliated shall be granted a leave of absence of up to twelve (12) months.
Leave for a Union Position. 16.7.1 An Employee who is elected or selected for a position with the Union or any labour body with which the Union is affiliated, and requires a leave of absence shall receive such leave. The terms and conditions of this leave of absence will be negotiated between the Union, the Employee and the Employer.

  • Leave for Union Business The Hospital agrees to grant leaves of absence, without pay, to nurses selected by the Union to attend Union business including conferences, conventions and Provincial Committee meetings and to any nurse elected to the position of Local Co-ordinator. The cumulative total leave of absence, the amount of notice, the number of nurses that may be absent at any time from one area and the number of days (including those of the Local Co-ordinator) is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.
