Leave of Absence to Vote. Pursuant to the provisions of the State Election Code, Unit Members who are registered voters shall be granted sufficient time off to vote in local, state and federal elections, not to exceed two (2) hours of time off with pay, if the voting time available outside of working hours is not sufficient to enable the Unit Member to vote.
Leave of Absence to Vote. 13.13.1 If employees are without sufficient time to exercise their right to vote outside of their working hours in a general, primary, or presidential election, they should be permitted without loss of pay release time during working hours as will provide the employee an opportunity to vote. Employees requesting said release time shall notify their immediate supervisor at least two (2) days in advance for the utilization of this leave.
