LENGTH OF CONTRACT YEAR. The base contract year for teachers is composed of no more than one hundred ninety contract days. See page 16, GBR.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT YEAR. The normal contract year will be 190 days as determined and scheduled by the Board. Contract days may be scheduled for instruction, curriculum study, orientation, inservice, parent conferences, teacher preparation or other activities determined by the Board. The Board retains the right to modify or change the use of contract days. Starting in the 2015-16 school term, the length of the contract year will be reduced to 172 days. However, the Board reserves the right to increase (but not to exceed) the contract year in the future (up to 190 days) with no additional compensation to staff. Time Schedules The duty day for all certified staff members will be published each year in August by the superintendent or building principal as the case may be. Each certified employee shall receive a copy of such publication before each school year begins.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT YEAR. The length of the teachers’ contract shall be equal to the student calendar plus seven (7) days. Five full days shall be designated as in-service/professional development days: 3 at the beginning of the school year and one full day at the end of the first quarter and one full day at the end of the third quarter. Two days shall be designated as flex days. One flex day will be at the end of the second quarter and one flex day will be at the end of the fourth quarter. On flex days the time between 7:45 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. may be used as in-service/professional development time. The remainder of the day may be used by teachers for grade preparation, for planning, or to work in their rooms
LENGTH OF CONTRACT YEAR. The basic contract year for the school Administrator shall consist of role-prescribed workdays.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT YEAR. In addition to the contract, two optional workdays and two days used by the District shall be added to orient teachers and hold workshops. Each teacher shall be paid a per diem wage based upon 1/180th of his/her base salary for the four days.
