Link Tutors. Each school is allocated a Link Tutor who maintains day-to-day liaison and support for a cluster of schools, the professional tutor/member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT, and those student teachers placed in them. The link tutor has a pivotal role in the partnership arrangements; as representatives of the higher education institution they are required to work with the professional tutors to monitor and develop the quality and standards of ITT in partner schools in so far as they impact upon the training of teachers and the successful delivery of the Secondary Partnership Agreement. Specifically, link tutors should:  be fully conversant with and follow all relevant course documentation;  ensure that the professional tutor/member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT in the school is fully briefed about student teacher school experiences;  be flexible and responsive to school and student teacher needs;  ensure that the professional tutor/member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT in the school fully understand their responsibilities and understand the requirements of each school experience and the Secondary Partnership Agreement generally;  liaise with the professional tutor/member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT in the school to support and monitor the operation of school experience;  plan school visits in advance and in agreement with the professional tutor/member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT in the school ;  provide professional support for the professional tutor/member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT in the school;  deal with issues arising out of school experiences in school;  monitor quality and standards in partner schools in so far as they impact upon the training of teachers and the successful delivery of the Secondary Partnership Agreement;  report any problems or issues relating to school experience (including issues relating to Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities / Race Equality as well as student progress and entitlement) to the relevant member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT in the school as well as to the Head of Programme and/or Head of Partnership;  liaise with professional tutor/member of staff with overall responsibility for ITT in the school regarding the requirement to support and facilitate opportunities for school staff in assisting the partnership in the selection and interviewing of applicants for a place on Secondary ITT programmes.
Link Tutors. A Link Tutor is allocated to each trainee at the start of each assessed school experience placement. The Link Tutor is responsible for quality assuring each trainee’s experience and training in school and for providing advice, support and guidance to the trainee in collaboration with the school mentor. The Link Tutor is the first point of contact with the University for all matters concerning the ITE course and Leeds Xxxxxxx trainees on school experience. The Link Tutor will support the school in making contact with colleagues in the ITE Partnership and Leeds Xxxxxxx University. Where more than one trainee is placed in a primary school, the same Link Tutor will normally be allocated to support each trainee individually, so that the school and the Link Tutor are able to build a strong and reciprocal training relationship. The role of the Link Tutor is to:  quality assure the trainee’s experience in school, including promoting and monitoring the implementation of ITE policies, procedures and reporting requirements in the school setting,  work closely with headteachers and senior managers to ensure that the school’s link with Leeds Xxxxxxx University is developed and enhanced to the benefit of all parties  liaise with school staff, university academic and administrative staff, and trainees in support of each of their allocated trainee’s progress on placement;  provide expertise, support, advice and guidance to trainees, mentors and other staff working in the ITE Partnership,  assess and monitor trainees’ progress on placement, and secure high quality training and outcomes for each trainee in their school experience placement.
Link Tutors. Each School Direct trainee is allocated a Link Tutor who maintains liaison and support for the trainee, mentor, and the professional tutor/School Direct co-ordinator in the school. Specifically, the Link Tutor should, in collaboration with the School Direct co-ordinator in school, be responsible for: • monitoring the trainee‟s progress through discussion with the Mentor; • reviewing the development of The Teachers’ Standards with the trainee and Mentor; • formative and summative assessments of the school experience with the Mentor; • monitoring, the trainee‟s wider professional development with the Mentor; • completing course documentation as specified in the relevant course documentation; • carrying out joint observations (with the mentor) of trainee teaching and complete related documentation; • reporting any problems or issues relating to school experience (including issues relating to Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities / Race Equality as well as trainee progress and entitlement) to the relevant member of staff with overall responsibility for ITE in the school as well as to the Head of Programme and the lead school. In addition the link tutor should: • complete termly, Link Tutor Report forms based on a review of evidence against the Teachers‟ Standards; • write the trainee‟s reference on behalf of the University.
Link TutorsThe Link Tutor must be a HCPC registered Paramedic appointed by the Sponsor to supervise and guide Practice Placement Educators (PPEd). The Link Tutor must be suitably qualified/experienced in the management of education delivery. The Link Tutor joins the ORMS faculty (as an honorary member) and is a key element in the management of education in practice. The Link Tutor will receive additional education from ORMS and will be required to participate in regular meetings with ORMS. Meetings will include face to face, video conference and telephone meetings to ensure the Link Tutor is kept up to date with programme developments, student progress and arising issues. The Link Tutor education package will comprise of the PPEd Education Package, Plus: • Educational Audit Facilitation • Supporting the Practice Placement Educator • Supporting the Failing Student

  • Tutors Increase the minimum hourly rate to $9.25. Where a campus currently pays a higher rate than this minimum rate, such higher rate shall apply. In addition, Tutors who already are paid a higher rate shall receive the 1.5% increase as set forth in this article.

  • Use of the Card 4.1. The Cardholder shall use the Card and operate the Account in a satisfactory manner. The decision as to whether the Card is being so used or the Account is being so operated rests with the Bank and shall be conclusive and binding on the Account Holder/s and on the Cardholder. 4.2. The Bank will bear no responsibility for the refusal of any merchant or establishment to accept the Card for any reason whatsoever. 4.3. Cash withdrawals that are recorded by the ATM, and payments effected by the Cardholder with his Card, shall be debited to his Bank Account. 4.4. Before using his Card, the Cardholder shall ensure that there are sufficient funds on his Account to cover the payment of the Card transactions. Furthermore, the Cardholder will not operate the Account in such a way to exceed the available balance of the Account. 4.5. The fraudulent, incorrect or illegal use of the Card by any person whomsoever shall not relieve the Cardholder of his liabilities to the Bank in respect thereof. 4.6. The Bank shall not be responsible to the Cardholder for any goods or services supplied to the Cardholder by merchants, or to any person to whom the said goods and services have been supplied. Disputes arising from the supply of such goods and services shall be settled directly with the merchants without the Bank being constituted party thereto. The Cardholder shall consequently not be relieved of his obligations to the Bank under the relevant Card transactions. 4.7. The Cardholder shall ensure the correctness of the amounts borne on, and contained in, the envelopes referred to in clause 1.3 of Part III above. The contents of the envelopes shall be checked and certified by two officers of the Bank. The amounts so certified shall be credited to the Account whose number is borne on the envelopes and shall be final and conclusive and not liable to be called in question by the Cardholder or the Account Holder. 4.8. Transactions for POS and ATM withdrawals are subject to the respective daily limits as determined by the Bank from time to time.

In addition, cost responsibility for ongoing costs, including operation and maintenance costs associated with the Interconnection Facilities, will be allocated between Interconnection Customer and any non-Party users based upon the pro rata use of the Interconnection Facilities by Transmission Owner, all non-Party users, and Interconnection Customer, in accordance with Applicable Laws and Regulations or upon some other mutually agreed upon methodology. If the issue of such compensation or allocation cannot be resolved through such negotiations, it shall be submitted to Dispute Resolution pursuant to Section 12 of the Tariff.

  • Use of Bulletin Boards Space shall be made available to OCEA on agency/departmental bulletin boards within the Representation Unit provided such use does not interfere with the needs of the agency/department and material posted is not derogatory to the County, County employees or other employee organizations.   • Sports related devices, services and medications used to affect performance primarily in sports- related activities; all expenses related to physical conditioning programs such as athletic training, bodybuilding, exercise, fitness, flexibility, and diversion or general motivation.

  • BOARD AND LODGING (While fighting Company Responsibility Fires) a) Employees who commute from home or camp are expected to ‘carry a lunch’. Additional meals where required will be at Company expense. b) Employees required to live away from their private residence will receive board and lodging at Company expense. c) Employees living in fly camps will receive board and lodging at Company expense.

  • Games The Private Party shall not be entitled to introduce any arcade type amusement or gaming machines into the Restaurant Facility without the prior written approval of SANParks.
