Move-In Day Sample Clauses

Move-In DayTenant may move into the Premises at any time on or after the Commencement Date, upon the following terms and conditions: (i) Tenant shall notify Landlord as soon as possible as to the date and time of the scheduled move, and at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the move date; (ii) Landlord must approve all moving arrangements in its reasonable discretion; (iii) the receiving area and service elevator are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis; no unscheduled moves are permitted; (iv) all office moves and large deliveries, if possible, shall be scheduled for weekends or after 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Building Holidays; (v) Tenant and Tenant’s moving contractor shall be responsible for supplying pads to protect the elevator cab interior and the Common Areas; masonite boards or similar material shall be used to cover all floor areas through which materials are to be moved; all floor coverings must be installed in such a manner as to avoid trip hazards or other unsafe conditions; (vi) the side and rear entrances are the only Building entrances permitted for moving and delivering purposes;
Move-In DayTenant may move its furniture and equipment into the Premises at any time on or after the date which is two (2) weeks prior to the Commencement Date, provided that (i) the move is conducted only on weekdays and not between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM or between the hours of 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and (ii) Tenant’s move in date is approved by Landlord at least one week in advance. At Landlord’s request, all personnel working for Tenant’s moving contract must be members of the appropriate union. If the move is not completed by 5:00 PM, Tenant shall pay to Landlord, on the next Basic Rent Payment Date, an overtime charge of $50.00 per hour or part thereof until 11:00 PM. No moving will be permitted after 11:00 PM. If applicable, Landlord will attempt to provide one (1) elevator for Tenant’s exclusive use during Tenant’s move. Tenant shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Premises, the Building and/or the Property by Tenant or its moving contractors.

Tenant shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Premises, the Building and/or the Property by Tenant or its moving contractors.
Move-In Day. (a) Tenant may move into the Premises at any time on or after the Commencement Date, provided that Tenant shall notify Landlord as soon as possible as to the date and time of the scheduled move. Tenant shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Building and/or the Premises by Tenant or its moving contractors. (b) Tenant desires to have access to the Building prior to the Commencement Date for the purpose of installing its computer and data servers and systems, data cabling, internet connections and to complete other information technology related work (said work being hereinafter referred to as the “Early Work”). If the Finish Work progresses to a stage that Landlord determines in good faith that the Early Work will not interfere with (except to a de minimis extent) or delay the completion of the Finish Work, then Landlord shall give Tenant notice advising Tenant that Tenant and its employees, agents and contractors may enter the Building for the purpose of undertaking the Early Work. Landlord shall have no obligation to give such notice to Tenant more than ninety (90) days prior to the anticipated Commencement Date or, at any time, if Landlord believes that the Early Work will interfere with (except to a de minimis extent) or delay the completion of the Finish Work. After receiving such notice, Tenant shall have access to the Building for the purpose of performing the Early Work in accordance with the provisions hereof. Tenant acknowledges and agrees that such access shall be in accordance with all terms and conditions of this Lease as if the Term had commenced, except for those provisions relating to the payment of Basic Rent, Amortization Rent and the payment of Additional Rent attributable to Landlord's Operating Expenses and Taxes. (c) Prior to commencing any of the Early Work, Tenant shall notify Landlord in writing of the names of the contractor or contractors who are to perform the Early Work. Tenant shall perform the Early Work in accordance with all of the applicable terms and conditions of this Lease, including, without limitation, Section 7.5 hereof. Tenant agrees further that (i) Tenant's contractors shall perform the Early Work during such times as Landlord shall determine in good faith, (ii) the Early Work shall be coordinated with the performance of the Finish Work and Tenant shall cooperate with Landlord in connection therewith and (iii) the Early Work shall not interfere with (except to a de minimis extent), damage or delay the pro...
Move-In Day. If any portion of the move takes place on weekends, business holidays or after 7:00 PM on weekdays, Tenant shall pay to Landlord, on the next Basic Rent Payment Date, an overtime charge of $50.00 per hour or part thereof until 11:00 PM. Tenant shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Premises, the Building and/or the Property by Tenant or its moving contractors.
Move-In Day. Move‐in day is a very exciting, but busy day. The process of moving 525 students into residence requires cooperation and patience in order to make the day go smoothly. We start the process at 8:00am and typically have everyone moved in by 3:00pm. There will be mov‐ ing carts and senior students there to assist you. Early in August you will receive detailed information about the day. Please only bring one
Move-In Day. Tenant must provide Landlord with reasonable advance notice of the date Tenant intends to move into the Leased Premises. Personnel working on the job, on behalf of moving contractor, must be members of the appropriate union. On weekdays, the moves must be finished by 4:00 P.M., or there will be an overtime charge of $25.00 per hour until 6:00 P.M. From 6:00 P.M., there will be an overtime charge of $35.00 per hour, until 9:00 P.M. From 9:00 P.M., there will be an overtime charge of $45.00 per hour. On weekends, the move must be finished by 1:00 P.M. Saturday, or there will be an overtime charge of $35.00 an hour until 6:00 P.M. Saturday. After 6:00 P.M. Saturday, there will be an overtime charge of $60.00 per hour. Landlord will attempt to provide one (1) elevator for the exclusive use of Tenant while the move is being made. Tenant will be held responsible for any damage caused to the Building by moving contractor’s acts. Tenant shall see that moving contractor’s personnel take proper precautionary steps.

  • VALUATION PERIOD Each Division will be valued at the end of each Valuation Period on a Valuation Date. A Valuation Period is each Business Day together with any non-Business Days before it. A Business Day is any day the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is open for trading, and the SEC requires mutual funds, unit investment trusts, or other investment portfolios to value their securities. ACCUMULATION VALUE The Accumulation Value of this Contract is the sum of the amounts in each of the Divisions of the Variable Separate Account and General Account. You select the Divisions of the Variable Separate Account and General Account to which to allocate the Accumulation Value. The maximum number of Divisions to which the Accumulation Value may be allocated at any one time is shown in the Schedule. ACCUMULATION VALUE IN EACH DIVISION ON THE CONTRACT DATE On the Contract Date, the Accumulation Value is allocated to each Division as elected by you, subject to certain terms and conditions imposed by us. We reserve the right to allocate premium to the Specially Designated Division during any Right to Examine contract period. After such time, allocation will be made proportionately in accordance with the initial allocation(s) as elected by you. ON EACH VALUATION DATE At the end of each subsequent Valuation Period, the amount of Accumulation Value in each Division will be calculated as follows:

  • Day not a Business Day If any day on or before which any action or notice is required to be taken or given hereunder is not a Business Day, then such action or notice shall be required to be taken or given on or before the requisite time on the next succeeding day that is a Business Day.

  • Boxing Day If another Federal, Provincial or Municipal holiday should be proclaimed during the term of this Agreement, such additional proclaimed holiday will replace one of the above-named holidays as agreed by the parties. The intent is that there will be no more than twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year for the duration of this agreement.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest ‌ (a) When a paid holiday falls on a regular full-time employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu of the holiday. (b) If a regular full-time employee is called in to work on the day designated as the lieu day pursuant to (a) above, he/she shall be compensated at time and one-half for all hours worked.

  • LIBOR Business Day Any day on which commercial banks are open for international business (including dealings in Dollar deposits) in London, England. LIBOR Lending Office. Initially, the office of each Lender designated as such on Schedule 1.1 hereto; thereafter, such other office of such Lender, if any, that shall be making or maintaining LIBOR Rate Loans.

  • ELECTION DAYS No wages shall be deducted for time lost on election days. The regular work schedule will prevail for Federal and Provincial elections.

  • Day Unless otherwise stated, reference to the terms "day," "days," "month," or "months" mean calendar day, calendar days, calendar month, and calendar months, respectively.

  • Payment on non-Business Day If any payment by the Borrower under a Finance Document would otherwise fall due on a day which is not a Business Day: (a) the due date shall be extended to the next succeeding Business Day; or (b) if the next succeeding Business Day falls in the next calendar month, the due date shall be brought forward to the immediately preceding Business Day, and interest shall be payable during any extension under paragraph (a) at the rate payable on the original due date.

  • Association Days The Association shall be provided a total of twenty-two (22) days during the school year of released time to conduct Association business with a maximum of seven (7) used on any given day. Requests for Association days shall be made in writing and, when at all possible, at least three (3) days prior to such leave and shall be submitted to the Superintendent or his/her designee. The Association shall assume any expense incurred by the hiring of a substitute teacher.
