National Outcomes. The average population-weighted concentrations in China in 2008 were 95 and 47 μg/m3 per person in January and July, respectively. For O3 were 39 ppb and 59 ppb per person in January and July, respectively. A recent study (Xxxxx & Xxxxxx, 2015) used data from monitoring sites in China and spatial interpolation methods to conclude an annual mean of 52 μg/m3 PM2.5 population-weighted concentrations. However, they did not consider any seasonal difference. Our result in January is 43 μg/m3 higher than the annual average and 5 μg/m3 lower in July compared to the annual mean. Our results demonstrate the need to take inter-annual variability into account. In 2050, the mean national population-weighted PM2.5 concentrations were 49 μg/m3 per person in January and 31 μg/m3 per person in July, and 51 ppb per person in January and 51 ppb per person in July for O3. Figure 6 shows the change in the national population- weighted PM2.5 and O3 concentrations in January and July (future minus base year), with 12 combinations (three exiting emission inventories and four future scenarios). We can see greatly reduced population-weighted PM2.5 concentrations (~80 μg/m3 per person) in January, comparing future to the base year among all 12 combinations, and less than 50% but still decreased PM2.5 concentrations in July compared to January. Air-XXXXX, Climate-XXXXX and SLCP-XXXXX predicted slightly increased (up to 10 μg/m3 per person) population-weighted PM2.5 concentrations in July. The changes in the national population-weighted O3 concentrations had a different pattern compared to PM2.5. Regardless of emissions used in the baseline, WRF-Chem-Air and WRF-Chem-Climate scenarios led to higher population-weighted O3 concentrations (an up to 15 ppb per person increase) in July, 2050, while WRF-Chem-SLCP and WRF- Chem-MTFR all predicted an up to 13 ppb per person decrease. On the other hand, WRF- Chem-MTFR and WRF-Chem-SLCP showed increased (~15 ppb per person) population- weighted O3 concentrations in January (Figure 6). Using different sets of population data did not result in a significant change (mostly less than 0.001 unit per person) in the projected national population-weighted concentrations, both for PM2.5 and O3. The scenario “no change” (constant-fertility and constant- mortality) led to the highest national population-weighted concentrations (see Appendix Table A-3). The Dundee SOA also adopts the following ‘intermediate outcomes’ related to learning and skills:  Increased confidence and skills through community, further and higher education.  Reduced inequalities through learning.  Increased levels of adult literacy and numeracy. The key outcomes related to learning and skills in the Angus Council Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) are as follows:  Our children and young people are confident individuals, effective contributors, successful learners and responsible citizens.  Adults maximise their potential through learning opportunities. The Angus SOA also sets outcomes associated with ‘supporting skills’ as follows:  Support the needs of local business with a skilled and motivated workforce.  Support local people to take up employment opportunities.  Develop opportunities for young people entering education, training and volunteering.   • CULTURAL DIVERSITY The Cultural Diversity Requirement generally does not add units to a student's program. Rather, it is intended to be fulfilled by choosing courses from the approved list that also satisfy requirements in other areas of the student’s program; the exception is that Cultural Diversity courses may not satisfy Culture and Language Requirements for B.S. students. For example, COMM 6 – Intercultural Communication, can fulfill (3) units of the Behavioral Science requirement and (3) units of the Cultural Diversity requirement. This double counting of a class may only be done with the Cultural Diversity requirement. Courses in Cultural Diversity may be taken at the lower- division or upper-division level.

  • Public Procurement The Parties shall cooperate to develop conditions for open and competitive award of contracts for goods and services in particular through calls for tenders.

  • Public Outreach The Sponsor is responsible for development and administration of a public outreach effort to ensure public awareness and involvement in the Project development and delivery process. The Sponsor shall provide a copy of the public outreach plan and all materials documenting the public outreach activities, including public notices, press releases, flyers, etc. to the Authority. The public outreach plan must accompany the first invoice for payment from Sponsor. The materials documenting the public outreach activities must accompany the final invoice for payment from Sponsor.

  • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.

  • Small and medium-sized enterprises 1. The Parties will promote a favourable environment for the development of the small and medium enterprises (SME) on the basis of strengthening of the relevant private and governmental bodies, as well as the exchange of experiences and good practices with the SME. 2. Cooperation shall include, among other subjects: (a) the designing and development of mechanisms to encourage partnership and productive chain linkage development; (b) development of human resources and management skills to increase the knowledge of the Chinese and Peruvian markets; (c) defining and developing methods and strategies for clusters development; (d) increasing access to information regarding mandatory procedures and any other relevant information for an SME exporter; (e) defining technological transference: programs oriented to transfer technological innovation to SME and to improve their productivity; (f) increasing access to information on technological promotion programs for SME and financial support and encouragement programs for SME; (g) supporting new exporting SME (sponsorship, credits and guarantees, seed capital); and (h) encouraging partnership and information exchange for SME financing institutions (credits, banks, guarantee organizations, seed capital firms). 3. Cooperation shall be developed, among other activities, through: (a) information exchange; (b) conferences, seminars, experts dialogue and training programs with experts; and (c) promoting contacts between economic operators, encouraging opportunities for industrial and technical prospecting.

  • Extended Health Care Plan ‌ The Employer shall pay the monthly premium for regular employees entitled to coverage under a mutually acceptable extended health care plan.

  • Facilities Study In analyzing and preparing the Facilities Study, and in designing and constructing the Attachment Facilities, Local Upgrades and/or Network Upgrades described in the Specifications attached to this ISA, Transmission Provider, the Interconnected Transmission Owner(s), and any other subcontractors employed by Transmission Provider have had to, and shall have to, rely on information provided by Interconnection Customer and possibly by third parties and may not have control over the accuracy of such information. Accordingly, NEITHER TRANSMISSION PROVIDER, THE INTERCONNECTED TRANSMISSION OWNER(s), NOR ANY OTHER SUBCONTRACTORS EMPLOYED BY TRANSMISSION PROVIDER OR INTERCONNECTED TRANSMISSION OWNER MAKES ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHETHER ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE OR DEALING, CUSTOM, USAGE IN THE TRADE OR PROFESSION, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH REGARD TO THE ACCURACY, CONTENT, OR CONCLUSIONS OF THE FACILITIES STUDY OR THE SYSTEM IMPACT STUDY IF A FACILITIES STUDY WAS NOT REQUIRED OR OF THE ATTACHMENT FACILITIES, THE LOCAL UPGRADES AND/OR THE NETWORK UPGRADES, PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that Transmission Provider warrants that the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities and any Merchant Transmission Upgrades described in the Specifications will be designed and constructed (to the extent that Interconnected Transmission Owner is responsible for design and construction thereof) and operated in accordance with Good Utility Practice, as such term is defined in the Operating Agreement. Interconnection Customer acknowledges that it has not relied on any representations or warranties not specifically set forth herein and that no such representations or warranties have formed the basis of its bargain hereunder.

  • Extended Health Plan An employee who makes an election under this provision must enrol in each and every of the benefit plans and shall not be entitled to except any of them.
