New Year’s Day – Memorial Day. Independence DayLabor Day: Employers who desire may operate their stores on these holidays. Stores opened on these holidays will be staffed by volunteers. If there are not enough volunteers available to staff the stores, Employers may, at their discretion, schedule the required number from part-time employees, using reverse seniority. New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day: Holidays shall be paid at straight time for all hours worked up to eight (8) hours or ten (10) hours if on the four (4)–ten (10) hour week. When a full-time employee works on these holidays, it will not be considered as working under the overtime provisions outlined in Section 1 of this Article. Employees working these holidays shall also receive holiday pay, if qualified, based on the provision outlined in Sections 3.2 and 3.3 of this Article. Employees working these holidays shall have the option to elect to postpone their holiday pay for the holiday worked in the holiday week in exchange for a floating holiday subject to the same terms and conditions of floating holidays as outlined in Section 3.4. New Year’s Day – Memorial Day. Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or days locally observed as such, and Sunday shall be recognized as holidays. Where the holiday falls on a Saturday, the Friday preceding it will be recognized as the holiday and where the holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be recognized as the holiday. All work perform on holidays shall be paid at two (2) times the regular hourly rate. Other fringes are not double for holiday work.

For those falling under the Service agreement, it is agreed that the observed holiday, days before or after Christmas and the Friday following Thanksgiving are optional holidays. Employees shall select at least one of these days as a holiday. The employer may retain at least 50 percent (50%) of their employees on these days at their discretion. Regular rate of pay would apply to these days.

In order to receive the ten (10) hour holiday pay the employee must be on the four (4)– ten (10) hour shift the week in which the holiday occurs.

  • 360-Day Year Interest shall be computed on the basis of a 360-day year for the actual number of days elapsed.

  • End of Fiscal Years; Fiscal Quarters The Borrower will cause (i) each of its fiscal years to end on December 31 of each year and (ii) its fiscal quarters to end on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31, respectively, of each year.

  • Fiscal Year; Fiscal Quarter The Borrower shall not change its fiscal year or any of its fiscal quarters, without the Administrative Agent’s prior written consent, which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Nonbusiness Days In any case where any payment or action is due under any Loan Document on a day which is not a Business Day, such payment or action may be delayed until the next-succeeding Business Day, but interest and fees shall continue to accrue in respect of any payment to which it is applicable until such payment is in fact made; provided that, if, in the case of any such payment in respect of a Eurodollar Rate Borrowing, the next-succeeding Business Day is in the next calendar month, then such payment shall be made on the next-preceding Business Day.

  • Day Unless otherwise stated, reference to the terms "day," "days," "month," or "months" mean calendar day, calendar days, calendar month, and calendar months, respectively.

  • Computation; 360-Day Year In computing interest, the date of the making of any Credit Extension shall be included and the date of payment shall be excluded; provided, however, that if any Credit Extension is repaid on the same day on which it is made, such day shall be included in computing interest on such Credit Extension. Interest shall be computed on the basis of a 360-day year for the actual number of days elapsed.

  • Payment on non-Business Day If any payment by the Borrower under a Finance Document would otherwise fall due on a day which is not a Business Day:
