Night Shopping. A provision shall be made for a fair rotation of employees (including Department Managers) when stores are open for night shopping. For the purpose of this article, an evening shift is deemed to be a shift that ends after 6:30 p.m. The intent of this language is to ensure employees are scheduled evening/closing shifts on a fair rotation basis provided it is practical for store operation. Where there are issues regarding fair rotation (including the scheduling of Department Managers), the Employer and the Union agree to meet to discuss a solution.

Night Shopping. A provision shall be made for a fair rotation of employees (including Department Managers) when stores are open for night shopping. Interval Between Shifts There shall be an interval of not less than ten(10) hours between shifts for all employees. An employee who is not allowed ten( 10) hours intervals between shifts shall be paid the rate of time and one half for time worked prior to the expiry of the ten (10) hours interval. The hours which an works prior to the expiry of the ten 0) hours interval will be included in determining the basic workday for the purpose of calculating overtime. (Example: An employee’s shift ends at and they start the next day at AM working through to with an hour for lunch (10 hours worked). That employee is entitled to pay as follows: the first two hours at time and one half, the next six hours at regular time and the last two hours at time and one half because these hours exceed eight in one day). Transfer Between Scheduling Groups The Employer may transfer an employee between scheduling groups to provide relief and additional help after all part-time employees within that scheduling group have been given the opportunity to work the available shifts up to the point of being scheduled overtime. Consecutive Days Off The Union and the Employer recognize that the scheduling of consecutive days off combinations varies from store to store in accordance with the operational requirements of the department and the preferences of the Employees. Effective Sunday after ratification and contingent on the continuing operational and staffing requirements of the department, the weekly work schedule will provide full-time employees with their current pattern of days off. Further, in those Meat Departments employing five or more full-time employees, each full-time employee will be entitled to be scheduled consecutive days off once every four weeks. In Deli Departments, a full-time employee will be entitled to be scheduled consecutive days off once every four weeks.

  • Night Shift Employees who regularly work a full shift of eight (8) hours or more on night shift as defined in Section 12.6.1 (Types of Shifts), which includes four (4) hours or more between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 7:00 a.m., shall be paid their regular salary plus ten percent (10%) of their monthly salary per month, provided that in the case of any employee who is regularly assigned to night-shift work for less than an entire work week, the additional payment shall be made only for the portion of the work week worked on the night-shift assignment.

  • Shopping Goods and works estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of Shopping.

  • National Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $50,000 equivalent per contract, may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of national shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.

  • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.

  • International Shopping Goods estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract may be procured under contracts awarded on the basis of international shopping procedures in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 3.5 and 3.6 of the Guidelines.

  • Wage Scale The wages shown in Appendix A will be part of this Agreement.

  • Catering The IU Auditorium staff may suggest caterers for your event; however, the Licensee will be responsible for paying all catering costs in a timely manner. All caterers in the IU Auditorium must be pre-approved by Auditorium Management and possess all valid Indiana licenses for food service and the service of alcoholic beverages (if applicable). The caterer must carry commercial general and auto liability insurance, including a products-completed operations endorsement, with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 Aggregate. Licensee must be in compliance with all other university regulations regarding food service including, but not limited to, completing the University Office of Environmental Health & Safety’s Temporary Food Service application. In addition, “The Trustees of Indiana University, its officers, agents and employees” must be named as an additional insured on the Certificate of Insurance for both Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability coverage. The Certificate of Insurance must be submitted to Indiana University for review and approval at least fourteen (14) working days prior to the scheduled date of the event. If Licensee’s vendor/caterer fails to comply with any of the requirements described in this section, the vendor/caterer will not be permitted to serve food or alcohol at the Event and Licensor shall not be responsible for any losses incurred by Licensee or Licensee’s subcontractors as a result of such cancellation. The Auditorium Production Stage Manager and the Licensee in conjunction with the Auditorium Management shall determine the number of employees necessary for the call. Manpower must be maintained until such time as work in all departments is fully completed. All requests for manpower must be submitted in writing forty-eight (48) hours prior to load-in. Indiana University Auditorium is under contract with IATSE Local #618. Licensee agrees to abide by the rules of this agreement governing stage labor. It is further agreed and understood that all of the Facility Usage Policies including all addenda published by the date of this Agreement are hereby incorporated as part of this contract and the Licensee has received a copy of the Indiana University Auditorium Facility and General Information. Please initial here: If sound equipment is carried by the performing company, artist, or conference, the Indiana University Auditorium Production Stage Manager, after consultation with representatives of the company, may permit use of the company's equipment in conjunction with the house system. If Licensee is to mix sound system from the road sound mixing position, mixing stacks and/or equipment to be no higher than forty-eight (48) inches from the floor. There are no balcony rail house lighting positions in the Indiana University Auditorium.
