Interval Between Shifts. There shall be an interval of not less than ten (10) hours between shifts for all employees. An employee who is not allowed a ten (10) hour interval between shifts shall be paid at the rate of time and one half (1½) for time worked prior to the expiry of the ten (10) hour interval.

Interval Between Shifts. 19.7.1 Shifts shall be arranged so that an employee has a minimum break of 10 hours continuously off duty between shifts.
19.7.2 Provided that this clause will not operate in cases of emergency certified by the officer- in-charge and notified to the employees concerned by posting up the same in some convenient place, nor in cases of regular changeover of shifts.

The Employer will make best efforts to avoid scheduling employees for an opening shift where the employee is scheduled to close on the previous night and where store hours are less than ten (10) hours between close and open. Where the Employer is required to schedule an employee for a close/open shift, these shifts will be scheduled based on fair rotation.
Interval Between Shifts. All employees shall have at least fourteen (14) hours between shifts, with the exception of bus drivers who are on extracurricular trips. For all work performed within the fourteen (14) hour interval the employee shall be paid the overtime rate; provided, that when the night custodian works a day shift, without a fourteen (14) hour interval between shifts, said custodian shall receive his/her regular rate of pay.

Interval Between Shifts. 57.1 Employees will have 10 consecutive hours off duty between shifts of duty.
57.2 When an employee has not had 10 consecutive hours off duty between separate ordinary hours shifts, and the employee is required to commence the next ordinary hours shift, the employee will be paid at overtime rates for the next shift until released to have 10 consecutive hours off duty.
57.3 If an employee works so much overtime between ordinary hours shifts that 10 consecutive hours off duty cannot be taken, the employee can be released from the next ordinary hours duty until 10 consecutive hours off duty have been taken. The employee will then commence duty and not lose any ordinary hours when this occurs.
57.4 The 10 hours may be substituted by 8 hours when the shift is swapped by mutual arrangement between the employees. However approval must be received from their supervisor and it must meet fatigue management guidelines and be at no cost to the business.
57.5 An employee who works so much overtime that they have not had at least 10 consecutive hours off duty during the 15 hours immediately preceding their ordinary commencing time the day following 2 consecutive days off or an observed public holiday, will, subject to this clause, be released after the completion of the overtime until they have had 10 consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for ordinary time occurring during the absence.
Interval Between Shifts. 26.9.1 The time which an Employee must be off duty will be a minimum of 11 hours.
26.9.2 Where an Employee works overtime between the Ordinary Hours on one day and the commencement of Ordinary Hours the next day and the Employee has not had the minimum interval between shifts, the Employee will receive payment for the Ordinary Hours occurring during such an absence.
Interval Between Shifts. 4.1 The minimum interval between shifts shall be eleven (11) hours off duty.
4.2 When transitioning from night shift to day shift there shall be a minimum twenty four (24) hours off duty. Subject to consultation and agreement with the local roster committee or affected employees this may be adjusted subject to fatigue management indicators and Statutory Regulations.
4.3 Shift cycles will be designed to ensure the maximum number of similar shifts, e.g. afternoon shifts, before a change to a different shift pattern, e.g. night shift
Interval Between Shifts. 44.1 An employee shall have a 10 hour break between the completion of work on one shift and the commencement of work on the next shift.
44.2 Employees shall be released from duty for 10 consecutive hours without loss of pay for any ordinary hours that occur during the 10 hour break.
44.3 If the employee, on the instruction of the Company, re-commences work without a 10 hour break, the employee will be paid at overtime rates until the employee is released from duty for 10 consecutive hours. The employee will be paid for any ordinary hours that occur during the 10 hour break.
44.4 An employee may have the 10 hour break substituted by an 8 hour break when changing shift rosters or where a shift working arrangement is made between employees or there is an agreement between employee and the Company.
