Occasional Remote Work. The parties recognize that situations arise that necessitate response by members who are off site or during off hours but do not require the member to return to the worksite to respond. In the event that a member responds to such a situation, the member should respond appropriately according to university procedures and act first to protect the health and safety of students. As soon as practicable, the member should notify the immediate supervisor of the work done from the remote location and the number of hours worked, providing incident reports, e-mails or other documentation of the hours claimed. The hours may then be documented on the member’s timesheet as time worked. The parties recognize that if a member as a part of their job responsibilities is required to work remotely that they may document said hours on their timesheet. Nothing herein is intended to relieve an employee from the duty to immediately notify the first supervisor outside of the bargaining unit of the existence of situations referenced herein.

Occasional Remote Work. In recognition that employees may need to work from home with short notice or on an occasional basis, employees may use occasional remote work days based on the following schedule. Time at Organization Number of occasional remote work days available per year < 1 year 12 1 year - 3 years 24 4 years or more 36 An employee is expected to give as much written notice as possible and must receive prior approval from their supervisor to work remotely on a particular day. An employee must receive approval from their supervisor to use more than four (4) occasional remote work days in the same month. No more than two (2) occasional remote work days may be taken during an employee’s first three (3) months at the Organization. Occasional remote work days cannot be carried over from one year to the next. Working remotely is considered the same as working in an office. The employee’s job responsibilities will not change due to working remotely, with the exception that the Organization may shift job responsibilities due to other crisis responses during an emergency remote work period. The amount of time an employee is expected to work and the work hours will be the same as their normal work hours (unless they have otherwise arranged a flexible work schedule as described in Section 2). Non-exempt employees must follow all overtime stipulations as they appear in this Article and must obtain prior advance approval from their supervisor before working in excess of forty (40) hours in a workweek. During work hours and while performing work functions in the designated work area of their home, employees working remotely are covered by worker’s compensation to the extent provided under applicable law. Employees working remotely are responsible for notifying the Organization of such injuries in accordance with company workers’ compensation procedures. The Organization is not responsible for any injuries sustained by third parties at an employees’ remote work environment. The Organization has the right to modify or terminate any permanent or regular remote work arrangements, either temporarily or permanently, with notice of at least twenty (20) days for permanent remote work arrangements and of at least seven (7) days for regular remote work arrangements.   • Remote Work Remote work is the practice of performing required job functions from home or another management-approved location. Any employee who believes that all or part of their position is suitable for remote work may request to work remotely by submitting a written request to their supervisor. The Employer will evaluate the employee's request, and will approve or deny the request in writing. Employees whose requests to work remotely are approved may be required to sign an agreement confirming expectations regarding their schedule, timekeeping, remote work environment, data/information security and other matters specific to their position.

  • Remote Access Access to and use of the Data over the State Governmental Network (SGN) or Secure Access Washington (SAW) will be controlled by DSHS staff who will issue authentication credentials (e.g. a Unique User ID and Hardened Password) to Authorized Users on Contractor’s staff. Contractor will notify DSHS staff immediately whenever an Authorized User in possession of such credentials is terminated or otherwise leaves the employ of the Contractor, and whenever an Authorized User’s duties change such that the Authorized User no longer requires access to perform work for this Contract.

  • Remote Terminal Unit Prior to the Initial Synchronization Date of the Large Generating Facility, a Remote Terminal Unit, or equivalent data collection and transfer equipment acceptable to the Parties, shall be installed by Developer, or by Connecting Transmission Owner at Developer’s expense, to gather accumulated and instantaneous data to be telemetered to the location(s) designated by Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO through use of a dedicated point-to-point data circuit(s) as indicated in Article 8. 1. The communication protocol for the data circuit(s) shall be specified by Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO. Instantaneous bi-directional analog real power and reactive power flow information must be telemetered directly to the location(s) specified by Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO. Each Party will promptly advise the appropriate other Party if it detects or otherwise learns of any metering, telemetry or communications equipment errors or malfunctions that require the attention and/or correction by that other Party. The Party owning such equipment shall correct such error or malfunction as soon as reasonably feasible.

  • Overtime Scheduling 1. Each employee interested in working overtime may volunteer by requesting, in writing, to be added to the voluntary overtime list within his/her building and/or the district-wide voluntary overtime list. They will also indicate whether they wish to work during their vacation period. Such written request to be added to or deleted from the overtime lists may be made at any time; however, if the employee is requesting to be deleted from the list(s), he/she shall not be allowed to rejoin the list(s) for a ninety (90) calendar day period. Such lists shall be maintained on a yearly basis, from September 1st to August 31st of each year. The employer will serve notice to the employees, by a memo into each work area, that overtime lists are being formulated, by August 15th of each year. 2. The list will be compiled for September with the volunteers listed in seniority order. Overtime shall be rotated among volunteers. The rotation shall be continuous through the year until a new list is compiled the following September. If an employee volunteers who was not on the list he/she shall be placed on the list according to his/her seniority and he/she shall be eligible to work overtime in accordance with the normal rotation. 3. To the extent possible, employees will be notified at least four (4) hours prior to the end of the shift of any overtime for that day and by noon on Friday for any Saturday overtime. Any employee who has volunteered to work overtime and is notified in accordance with this paragraph shall be obligated to work the overtime hours in their building unless excused by the supervisor. 4. Overtime assignments will be on a rotating schedule among the qualified employees within each classification who have expressly volunteered for such overtime work. The employer’s obligation to rotate overtime shall be satisfied by calling employees who are working at the time the overtime determination is made (i.e., not on vacation or other leave of absence) in seniority order and offering them the opportunity to work. 5. If there are insufficient volunteers available for any specific assignment, the employer may require the least senior employee in the division to perform the work. 6. Substantiated errors made in the rotation of overtime (Article XIII Section G.4) will be corrected on the basis of offering the by-passed employee an amount of overtime equal to the time lost due to the error of assignment. Depending on the number of hours involved, it is possible that this may take more than (1) one overtime offer/assignment. Acceptance of the compensatory overtime will not change the employees spot in the overtime rotation, thus the employee will remain eligible for overtime in the same rotation as before the error. The compensatory overtime will not be offered at such a time or in such a manner that would purposefully cause inconvenience or inability to the effected employee to comply. In the event the employee declines the offered overtime work, the employee shall forfeit any future claim to the overtime hours in dispute.

  • SATELLITE DISH Subject to compliance with all applicable Legal Requirements, Tenant shall have the exclusive right to place, from time to time, satellite dishes, antennae and other communication or transmission devices (such devices being referred to as the “Satellite Dishes”) on the roof of each of the Buildings. Additionally, Tenant shall have the right to install such wire, conduits, cables and other materials as necessary to connect the Satellite Dishes to Tenant’s allied machinery and equipment in the Premises (the Satellite Dishes and any such connecting material being collectively referred to as the “Satellite Dish Facilities”). However, prior to the installation of any Satellite Dish Facilities, Tenant, at its expense, shall be required to provide Landlord with a certification by a registered professional structural engineer that the structural system of the roof is adequate to support the superimposed loads produced by any Satellite Dishes at the location on the roof of such Satellite Dishes and Tenant, at its expense, shall be required to provide Landlord with satisfactory assurance that the existing construction materials of the roof (such as the roof membrane) shall be protected from the Satellite Dishes. At the expiration or earlier termination of the Lease, Tenant, at its expense, may remove the Satellite Dish Facilities belonging to Tenant, but Tenant shall remove any Satellite Dish Facilities belonging to an unaffiliated third party. Any work required to restore the roof of any other part of the Buildings from any damage occasioned by the installation, maintenance or removal of the Satellite Dish Facilities shall be borne by Tenant, and Tenant shall indemnify and hold harmless Landlord from any costs, expenses, liabilities and the like, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, occasioned by any damage to property and injury or death to persons caused by such installation, maintenance or removal, except to the extent caused by the negligence, willful misconduct or breach of this Lease of Landlord. Tenant shall be responsible for the installation of all Satellite Dish Facilities (including the attachment thereto to the roof) and for all costs and expenses arising from and relating to the Satellite Dish Facilities and the installation, operation, maintenance and repair thereof, and, if Tenant elects to remove the Satellite Dish Facilities, or for those Satellite Dish Facilities for which removal is required, for the removal thereof. The installation, maintenance and removal of the Satellite Dish Facilities shall be performed by contractors and workers first approved by Landlord, which approval will not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. However, Landlord reserves the right to require Tenant, at Tenant’s expense, to use Landlord’s roofing contractor in connection therewith if, in Landlord’s reasonable judgment, the Landlord’s roof warranty may be affected by any such work. Landlord agrees that Tenant and engineering and maintenance personnel reasonably approved by Landlord shall have access to the Satellite Dish Facilities in order to install, operate, maintain, inspect and remove, as required, the Satellite Dish Facilities. Landlord shall not unreasonably interfere with or impair the use, operation, maintenance or repair of the Satellite Dish Facilities. Tenant may sublease to unaffiliated third parties rooftop rights for the installation of Satellite Dish Facilities, without Landlord’s consent, but Tenant shall give Landlord written notice of the existence of any such subleases from time to time upon Landlord’s request. All revenues derived from such third party subleases shall belong to Tenant. The Satellite Dish Facilities shall not be considered a part of the Premises for the purpose of determining Tenant’s rental obligations under the Lease and no Rent therefor shall be charged during the Term (including any renewal period specifically provided under this Lease). However, Tenant’s use of the Satellite Dish Facilities is otherwise subject to all of the terms and conditions of this Lease with respect to Tenant’s use and occupancy of the Premises, including, without limitation, Sections 9, 22 and 31.

  • Downtime There may be downtime during the Migration. The duration of the downtime will depend on the amount of data that Agency is migrating. Axon will work with Agency to minimize any downtime. Any VIEVU mobile application will need to be disabled upon Migration.

  • Outages 9.7.1.1 Outage Authority and Coordination. Interconnection Customer and Transmission Owner may each in accordance with Good Utility Practice in coordination with the other Party and Transmission Provider remove from service any of its respective Interconnection Facilities, System Protection Facilities, Network Upgrades, System Protection Facilities or Distribution Upgrades that may impact the other Party’s facilities as necessary to perform maintenance or testing or to install or replace equipment. Absent an Emergency Condition, the Party scheduling a removal of such facility(ies) from service will use Reasonable Efforts to notify one another and schedule such removal on a date and time mutually acceptable to the Parties. In all circumstances, any Party planning to remove such facility(ies) from service shall use Reasonable Efforts to minimize the effect on the other Parties of such removal.
