The Department shall maintain the Official Personnel Folder of each unit employee, on behalf of the Office of Personnel Management in the appropriate Regional-OASAM or at the National Office. Official Personnel Folders are subject to the Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act.

Employees, and/or their duly authorized representatives, shall have a reasonable opportunity to review the contents of their Electronic Official Personnel Folders (E-OPF) via internet access, while in a duty status. Reasonable use of Government supplies will be authorized for an employee to print hard copies of the E-OPF’s contents, as needed.
