On-Calls. The Principal of a school may assign one-half (½) period per school day or one (1) period every second day to a teacher to replace another teacher absent for any reason, to a maximum per teacher of twenty-seven (27) one- half (½) periods of worked on-calls in a school year. In any event, a teacher may be assigned up to two (2) one-half (½) periods in excess of the maximum in the event of an emergency. An on-call is defined as the assignment of a teacher to replace an absent teacher in his or her class, study hall, in-school suspension room, or related duties.

On-Calls. All secondary teachers shall be assigned a timetable consisting of the following duties, credit courses and/or credit equivalent courses, as defined in the Education Act and Regulations as may be amended from time to time.

On-Calls. 1222 Section 6 - Additional Hours 1223 When additional hours become available, the Employer will request volunteers and offer such hours up to eight (8) hours per day and forty (40) hours per week. These hours will be offered to employees by bargaining unit seniority and ability to perform the work who are regularly assigned to the department and classification where the additional hours occur in the following order:
On-Calls. 6. The Employer will give consideration to employees who request to work additional hours in another department or entity. Employees who desire to be considered for additional hours in another department or entity must provide written notification to that department's supervisor. Each department supervisor will maintain a list of employees, outside their department, who have provided such written notification. However, once an employee achieves the status of Irregularly Scheduled Part-time, then hours worked in other departments will count toward the employee's maintenance of such status.

Related to On-Calls

  • On Call 10.1.1 In the interests of healthy rostering practices, the parties agree that the allocation of on-call time should be spread as evenly as practicable amongst those required to participate in an on-call roster.

  • On-Call Duty (a) Employees shall be paid one (1) hour of pay at the regular straight time rate for each six (6) hours of assigned on-call duty. Employees who are assigned on-call duty for less than six (6) hours shall be paid on a prorated basis.

  • On-Call Pay 1. When a regular, limited-term or probationary employee is assigned on- call duty by the County, the employee shall, whenever practicable, be informed in writing at least five (5) days in advance of the dates and inclusive hours of such assignment; the employee shall be compensated at one-fourth (1/4) of his or her basic hourly rate for the entire period of such assignment.

  • On Call Allowance (a) An employee who agrees to be on call, that is, the employee agrees to make themselves ready and available to return to work at short notice whilst off duty, shall be paid the allowance, for each period of 24 hours or part thereof, set out in Item 17 of Table 2 of Schedule B to this Agreement.

  • On-Call Employment The Employer may fill a position with an on-call appointment where the work is intermittent in nature, is sporadic and it does not fit a particular pattern. The Employer may end on-call employment at any time by giving one (1) day’s notice to the employee.

  • School Calendar The Dual Credit course schedule will be determined by the location of the course delivery, provided that the required contact hours and prerequisites are met. The instructional calendar for the high school portion of the School will be based on the School District calendar and comply with all related TEA regulations for school attendance. The School District will adjust its schedule as necessary to enable Students to enroll in and attend the college- level courses provided by College. The School District and College will coordinate the State Student assessment requirements to ensure said assessments are administered without penalty. The School District, School and College will ensure that the School calendar accounts for the required per-semester contact hours for courses. When the instructional delivery is on the College site, it may be necessary for Students to attend classes on days when the School District is closed (e.g., different holiday closures). When Students take classes at the College scheduled on days when School is closed, the School District will ensure that at least one staff member with administrative authority be on call and available to be reached by the College’s Office of High School Programs or other College staff in case of emergency. The designated School staff member will have access to Student emergency contact information. While the College agrees to make scheduling accommodations for required State assessments, including the STAAR and End of Course Exams, all contact hour requirements must be met. For assessments not mandated by the State, the College and School District will come to a mutual agreement on administration dates in order to appropriately manage disruptions of college courses and ensure contact hour requirements are met.

  • Death of Member Upon the death of the Member, the Company shall be dissolved. By separate written documentation, the Member shall designate and appoint the individual who will wind down the Company’s business and transfer or distribute the Member's Interests and Capital Account as designated by the Member or as may otherwise be required by law.
