Overtime Banks Sample Clauses

Overtime Banks. Employees may bank overtime hours to a cumulative maximum of one hundred (100) hours. At the end of each calendar year, an employee will be entitled to carry-over up to fifty (50) hours into the next calendar year. Banked hours carried over will be paid at the rate the employee earned as of December 31 of the year in which banked. At no time can the amount of carried-over hours exceed fifty (50) and the cumulative total of banked and carried over hours exceed one hundred (100).

Overtime Banks. 10.3.1. Overtime worked by an employee on any rostered on day may be credited to the employee's Compulsory Overtime Bank or Voluntary Overtime Bank in accordance with the Clause 10.3.2and 10.3.3.
Overtime Banks. Notwithstanding Article 7.11, the Parties agree that on the date of signing of this Collective Agreement the Employer shall within two pay periods of the signing of this Agreement pay out accumulated lieu time greater than twenty four (24) hours. Nurses with accumulated lieu time of twenty four (24) hours or less shall reduce their accumulated lieu time banks to 0 hours by October 31, 2015. These employees are permitted to schedule time off at a mutually agreed time as operational requirements permit. Any Nurse with accumulated lieu time remaining in their bank on October 31, 2015 will receive a payout by November 30, 2015 of the remaining accumulated lieu time. Following the date of signing of this Collective Agreement overtime will be paid out in accordance with Article 7.11.

  • Overtime Banking Employees desiring to bank overtime may elect to do so under the following criteria: * The half time associated to overtime may be banked up to a total of 24 hours per calendar year. This limit may be replenished throughout the year. * Banked time must be taken in full day increments or the employee may elect to receive the pay. * Employees must have cleared or be scheduled to clear their hours account by December 15. If the account is not cleared then the employee will be paid the balance in cash. * Payment will be based on the current rate of pay at the time the banked time is used. * Time off must be requested in advance, unless bona fide illness. (Company will monitor) * Time off will be subject to Company service requirements and no additional cost to the Company. * Implementation of the Overtime Banking arrangement will be subject to the development of an appropriate computer system.

  • HOLIDAYS AND OVERTIME 4.11 All work performed outside of the regular scheduled working hours and on Saturdays, Sundays, and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Day (California only), Presidents Day (Nevada only), Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Veteran's Day (California only), Nevada Day (Nevada only), Thanksgiving Day and the Friday following, and Christmas Day, or days celebrated as such, shall be paid for at double the regular straight-time rate of pay.   • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.

  • Sick Leave Bank 22.1 The purpose of this Sick Leave Bank is to provide a bank of sick leave hours from which a member may draw in case of extended absences due to illness/disability which renders the member incapable of working.
