Overtime Full-Time Employees. The Corporation will pay full-time employees, except those in the classifications "Senior Pool Supervisor" and "Assistant Facility Supervisor", time and one-half for all hours worked beyond the normal work day or work week, except in the following cases: (a) Overtime work in excess of 10 hours beyond the employee's basic scheduled work week shall be paid at the rate of double time. (b) All work performed beyond 8 hours on the first day of rest shall be paid at the rate of double time. (c) All work performed on the second day of rest shall be paid at the rate of double time. (d) All work performed on holidays shall be paid at the rate of double time. Overtime will be distributed as equitably as practical among qualified employees.
Overtime Full-Time Employees. All time worked outside or in excess of the ordinary hours of work shall be deemed to be overtime and must be paid at the rate of time and a half for the first three hours and double time thereafter. All time worked in excess of 10 hours in a day or 38 hours in a week shall be deemed to be overtime and shall be paid at the rate of time and a half for the first three hours and double time thereafter. Subject to the requirements of this clause, an employer may require an employee to work reasonable overtime at overtime rates. An employee may refuse to work overtime in circumstances where the working of such overtime would result in the employee working hours which are unreasonable having regard to: (a) any risk to an employee’s health and safety; (b) the employee’s personal circumstances including any family responsibilities; (c) the needs of the workplace or enterprise; (d) the notice (if any) given by the employer of the overtime and by the employee of his or her intention to refuse it; and (e) any other relevant matter.
Overtime Full-Time Employees. There shall be no extended amount of overtime worked in any operation where there are Employees on layoff in the same or similar type of operation and qualified to perform the available work. No Duplication or Full-time and Part-time The overtime rate shall be time and one-half (1%)the Employee’s regular straight time rate of pay. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid. Where Employees are called back to work having completed a regular shift and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours work or three (3) hours pay at the rate of time and one-half their regular straight time rate of pay. Where call back is immediately prior to the commencement of their regular shift the call back pay will only apply to the point of commencement of a regular shift at the rate of time and one-half( afterwards they shall revert back to the regular shift.
Overtime Full-Time Employees. 4.3.1 Hearing Australia may direct an employee to work reasonable additional hours outside of their ordinary hours of work. An employee may refuse a direction to work additional hours where it is reasonable for the employee to do so. 4.3.2 The NES contains the matters that may be taken into account in determining whether a direction to work additional hours is reasonable. 4.3.3 Employees in job families Support Services, Customer Engagement, Clinical Specialist and Professional are eligible to receive overtime rates of pay for Additional Hours (Eligible Employees). All paid overtime must be approved in writing by an employee’s immediate manager before overtime is worked. Casual employees are not eligible to receive overtime rates of pay. 4.3.4 For full time employees who are eligible to receive overtime rates of pay, overtime is all authorised work performed by an employee at the direction of their Manager: (a) In excess of the employee’s Ordinary Hours of Work; or (b) Work performed outside the bandwidth Monday to Saturday; or (c) On a Sunday or a Public Holiday. 4.3.5 Overtime rates of pay for Eligible Employees are set out in the table below and paid on the base rate of pay: Monday to Saturday Time and a half Sunday Double time Public Holiday Double time and a half (to the exclusion of any other benefit) 4.3.6 If part of an overtime period extends beyond midnight, and the overtime rate is varied, the appropriate rate will apply for any work performed beyond midnight up until the cessation of the overtime period. 4.3.7 The minimum payment for each separate overtime attendance, which is not continuous with ordinary duty, will be 3 hours at the prescribed overtime rate. 4.3.8 Where an employee is recalled to duty in a period that is covered by a prior overtime payment period, payment does not commence until the expiry of the initial period. After that time, payment is calculated as if the overtime was continuous with the first period. 4.3.9 Where the employee is either recruited to work on a Saturday or agrees to work Saturdays as part of their ordinary hours, Saturday work is not overtime and will be paid at ordinary time. 4.3.10 An employee who works overtime and has not had at least 8 consecutive hours off duty (plus reasonable travelling time) between the end of their normal day and the commencement of work the next day, will be granted time off with no loss of pay until the rest period equals no less than 8 consecutive hours (plus reasonable travellin...
