Pay Calculation. For the purpose of pay calculation, approved vacation, sick leave or any other leave with pay shall be included as actual hours worked, subject to the following:
Pay Calculation. The annual salaries of teachers shall be paid in twenty-six biweekly installments. The formula for calculating pay will be the daily rate of pay multiplied by the number of days budgeted for the position. This will establish an annual rate of pay. (Adult teachers are typically budgeted for 236 days.) The annual rate of pay will be divided by 2,080 hours to establish an hourly rate. This formula is designed to ensure that teachers receive pay throughout the year.
Pay Calculation. Statutory holiday pay shall be based upon the average percentage of available full time hours each such employee was paid in the thirty (30) calendar days immediately preceding the holiday.
Pay Calculation. Promotion, demotion or transfer rate of pay shall be calculated from the employee’s permanent, casual, or temporary position in that order.
Pay Calculation. For employees working a full-time schedule, pay shall be equal to eight (8) hours’ pay. For employees working a mini-schedule, pay shall be equal to the length of the mini-schedule that the employee is working at the time the funeral leave is taken.
Pay Calculation. Unit members' pay shall be calculated to the nearest fifteen (15) minute period.
Pay Calculation. For the purposes of this Agreement, ''Pay" shall be paid at the ordinary time rate described in this Agreement and shall include regular weekly payments, such as service increments and supervisory allowances, but shall exclude shift, overtime and extraneous payments.
