Payment at Termination. A person who resigns, retires, is laid off or discharged and who has earned vacation time on record shall be paid for the vacation as of the effective date of the termination, except that no payment shall be made to any employee who has been employed less than one-half (1/2) of the annual period.
Payment at Termination. 35.1 Employees who terminate from employment with the Employer, and provided the required two-week notice, shall receive compensation for the following:
a. All vacation earned in the current year and unused vacation carried over from the previous year. In the event of death, such compensation shall be paid to the Employee's spouse or in the absence of, to the Employee's estate.
b. Earned or accrued holiday pay for which the Employee had not already been compensation. In event of death, such compensation shall be paid to the employee's spouse or in the absence of, to the employee's estate.
c. An Employee who retires may purchase the duty weapon, holster, ammunition pouch, and badge he was issued for a cost of one ($1.00) dollar. "Retires" as used in this Article is to be interpreted to mean (1) service retirement (20 years minimum recognized by the retirement system) or (2) disability retirement (after 15 years minimum recognized by the retirement system).
Payment at Termination. Whenever an employee is laid off or discharged, he shall be allowed one-half (1/2) hour to clean his tools and be paid the full amount of wages due him immediately. Whenever an employee is not paid one-half (1/2) hour before discharge, he shall receive payment at the regular rate of wages for each hour of every day until payment is made, not to exceed thirty (30) days.
Payment at Termination. Upon termination of Employee’s employment for any reason provided above, Employee shall be entitled to receive all compensation earned and all benefits and reimbursements (including payments for accrued vacation and sick leave, in each case in accordance with applicable policies of the Company) due through the effective date of termination. Additional compensation subsequent to termination, if any, will be due and payable to Employee only to the extent and in the manner expressly provided above in this Section 6. All other rights and obligations of the Company, and Employee under this Agreement shall cease as of the effective date of termination, except that the obligations under Sections 7, 8, 9 and 10 below shall survive such termination in accordance with their terms.
Payment at Termination. Irrespective of the reasons for which Employee’s employment is terminated, he shall be entitled to be paid all accrued time-off to which his is entitled at the time.
Payment at Termination. An Employee terminating from City service for any reason shall be paid for accrued overtime at regular pay rate set forth in subsection 1, above. Such payment shall be made in conjunction with and included in Employee's final paycheck.

27.2 Employees who Retire may purchase his/her service duty weapon, backup weapon (if issued at the time of retirement), holster, ammunition pouch, and badge issued to the Employee for a cost of one dollar ($1.00). For purposes of this Article, “Retire” is defined as (i) service retirement (twenty (20) years minimum recognized by the retirement system) or (ii) disability retirement (fifteen (15) years minimum recognized by the retirement system).

Payment at Termination. An employee whose service is terminated shall be entitled to receive the equivalent amount of pay for annual leave accrued.
