Payment for Period of Long Service Leave. Payment to an employee in respect of long service leave shall be made at their normal rate of pay or in any other way agreed between the company and the employee. Where any increase to the employee's weekly rate of pay will occur during the period of leave, that increase shall apply from the operative date. Where an entitlement to long service leave exists and the employment of an employee is for any reason terminated before the employee takes any long service leave to which they were entitled, the employee shall be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.

Payment for Period of Long Service Leave. 19.4.1 The rate of payment to which an employee on leave shall be entitled shall be in the case of a full-time employee’s actual rate of pay. The actual rate of pay is the total amount an employee would receive if the employee were performing ordinary hours of work and shall not include overtime, penalty rates, disability allowances, shift allowances, special rates, fares and travelling time allowances.

An employee with less than ten (10) years of continuous University service, as defined herein, who separates from the University shall not be paid for any unused sick leave. For employees appointed on or before 1/7/03 University service includes continuous employment by the University or the State of Florida.

With the exception of the provisions in Section C.2.b., below, an employee required to work on a holiday listed above shall be paid at the employee's regular straight-time rate of pay for the hours actually worked. In addition, an eligible employee shall receive either compensatory time off or holiday pay at the option of the University at the regular straight-time rate, including any shift differential.

  • CONTRACT AMOUNT AND PAYMENT FOR SERVICES 5.1 Fiscal Year 2020 Contract Amount. The total amount of HHSC's share of this Contract for fiscal year 2020 shall not exceed $3,615,665.86.
