Meal Allowance-Overtime. (a) An Employee will be supplied with an adequate meal or be paid a meal allowance, in addition to any overtime payment, as set out in Schedule B, in the following circumstances: (i) An Employee shall be entitled to a meal allowance when required to work after the usual finishing hour of work beyond one (1) hour (Monday to Sunday inclusive), or in the case of a shift Employee when the overtime work on any shift exceeds one (1) hour. Provided that where such overtime work exceeds four (4) hours a further meal allowance will be paid; (ii) An Employee when required to work more than five (5) hours overtime on a Saturday or on a Sunday, or more than five (5) hours by a shift Employee on her/his rostered day off, and when required to work more than nine (9) hours on such day a further meal allowance will be paid. (iii) When recalled to duty outside of usual working hours for a period in excess of two (2) hours (and when the time of such recall coincides with or over-runs Employees normal meal time) and where such overtime exceeds four hours a further meal allowance shall be paid. (iv) The above meal allowance provisions shall not apply where a meal is supplied at Cabrini’s expense.

Meal Allowance-Overtime. An employee required to work overtime for more than one (1) hour in continuity with his normal working day shall receive a meal allowance of unless that the Employer has given a one (1) day notice regarding the overtime required.
Meal Allowance-Overtime. ‌ 16.12.1 An employee who is required to work overtime for more than one and a half hours beyond normal close of business or work overtime more than one and a half hours prior to start of business will be paid $9.70 allowance for each occurrence. 16.12.2 This allowance will increase annually by the percentages identified in line with clause 25. 16.12.3 Not withstanding clause 16.12.1, the following meal allowance provisions are to be adhered to: • Ordinary hours – no meal allowance • Overtime on site - $9.70 (ie. 1.5 hours beyond normal working hours) • Overtime off site (with prior notice by close of business previous day) - $9.70 (ie. 1.5 hours prior or beyond ordinary working hours) • Overtime off site (without prior notice by close of business previous day) – Travel Allowance will be paid for lunch ($15.00) and meal allowance of $9.70 will be paid for overtime greater than 1.5 hours over the normal working hours or if overtime goes beyond 19:00 hours the Travel Allowance will be paid for Dinner ($30.00). The lunch break allowance applies only to employees who do not have the opportunity to take the prescribed half-hour lunch break ‘at some time’ on site during the working day.
Meal Allowance-Overtime. 19.12.1 An employee who is required to work overtime for more than one and a half hours will be paid 19.12.2 Where an employee works overtime: 19.12.3 This allowance will further increase as set out in Clause 1.2 of Appendix A of this Agreement.

(b) Clause 5.3.4 (a) will not apply when an employee could reasonably return home for a meal within the meal break.

Meal Allowance-Overtime. 24.6.1 An employee who is required to work overtime for more than one and a half hours will be paid at the rate as prescribed in ANNEX B for each crib time occurring in the overtime hours. 24.6.2 Where an employee works overtime: a) before commencement of ordinary time; and b) after the cessation of ordinary time; and c) is not eligible for meal money as previously discussed; and d) work is more than ten (10) hours; the employee will be entitled to payment (meal money) at the rate as prescribed in ANNEX B. In this instance, continuous period of work includes the prescribed ordinary hours of work, but excludes unpaid meal breaks.

Meal Allowance-Overtime. 9.7.1 A team member required to work more than one hour of overtime after the team member’s ordinary time of ending work, will be either provided with a meal or paid a meal allowance of $18.29. Where such overtime work exceeds four hours a further meal allowance of $16.57 will be paid. 9.7.2 No meal allowance will be payable where a team member could reasonably return home for a meal within the period allowed or where 24 hours’ notice was provided to the team member of the requirement to work overtime. 9.7.3 The meal allowance will increase in accordance with any increase in the allowance in the GRIA.

If required to work more than nine hours on such day, a further amount as specified in Appendix A shall be paid. 23.4 Meal allowances are in addition to overtime rates. 23.5 The meal allowance will be paid as part of the next pay cycle.
