– PEER ASSISTANCE & REVIEW. 8-1 Peer Assistance and Review Program 8-1.1 The District and Association desire to establish and maintain a program to provide assistance to teachers employed by the District who are in need of or desire peer support and professional growth in subject matter knowledge or teaching methods. This program shall hereinafter be entitled The Peer Assistance and Review Program (referred to as “The PAR Program”).

– PEER ASSISTANCE & REVIEW. A. The District and the Association agree to establish a P.A.R. Committee, which will be trained in anticipation of becoming the P.A.R. Panel required by the new regulations. The Committee will consist of the Superintendent, one (1) Principal, and three (3) T.T.A. representatives. The District and the Association agree to the goals of P.A.R. as defined by the State of California. (Board approved May 25, 2000) B. The Templeton Teachers Association (“Association”) and the Xxxxxxxxx Unified School District (“District”) continuously strive to provide the highest possible quality of education for all students in the Xxxxxxxxx Unified School District. Research consistently shows a high positive correlation between increased student learning and improved teacher instruction. Therefore, the parties agree to cooperate in the design and implementation of programs to improve the quality of teacher instruction through expanded and improved professional development and peer assistance. Teachers referred to or who volunteer for the program are viewed as valuable professionals who deserve to have the best resources available provided to them in the interest of improving performance.
– PEER ASSISTANCE & REVIEW. Referred Participating Teacher: A Referred Participating Teacher is a permanent classroom teacher who received an “Unsatisfactory rating in one or more areas in his/her on the final evaluation involving subject matter knowledge and teaching methods. A Referred Participating Teacher shall be evaluated in the succeeding year and shall participate in the District’s PAR Program.

Written feedback on an ind-depth observation shall include a space for the unit member to add comments that will be included in the report. 4.1.2.3 A summative written evaluation shall be completed and an evaluation conference shall be held between the evaluator and the unit member in accordance with the timeline in EXHIBIT G. The evaluation report shall include a determination that the unit member's performance is satisfactory, needs improvement, or is unsatisfactory. A copy of the evaluation report shall be placed in the unit member's personnel file. 4.1.2.4 The unit member may file a response to be attached to the evaluation.   • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel. Evaluations for Probationary and Ineffective Teachers:

  • Turnover Assistance Grantee will provide any assistance and actions reasonably necessary to enable System Agency or its designee to effectively close out the Grant Agreement and transfer the performance and obligations of the Grant Agreement to another Grantee or to System Agency if necessary. Grantee agrees that this obligation survives the termination, regardless of whether for cause or convenience, or the expiration of the Grant Agreement and remains in effect until completed to the satisfaction of System Agency.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Section 1.   • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Employee Assistance Program Neither the fact of an employee's participation in an employee assistance program, nor information generated by participation in the program, shall be used as a reason for discipline under this Article, except for information relating to an employee's failure to participate in an employee assistance program consistent with the terms to which the employee and the University have agreed.

  • Transition Assistance If this Contract is not renewed at the end of this term, if the Contract is otherwise terminated before project completion, or if particular work on a project is terminated for any reason, Contractor shall provide transition assistance for a reasonable, mutually agreed period of time after the expiration or termination of this Contract or particular work under this Contract. The purpose of this assistance is to allow for the expired or terminated portion of the services to continue without interruption or adverse effect, and to facilitate the orderly transfer of such services to State or its designees. The parties agree that such transition assistance is governed by the terms and conditions of this Contract, except for those terms or conditions that do not reasonably apply to such transition assistance. State shall pay Contractor for any resources utilized in performing such transition assistance at the most current Contract rates. If State terminates a project or this Contract for cause, then State may offset the cost of paying Contractor for the additional resources Contractor utilized in providing transition assistance with any damages State may have sustained as a result of Contractor’s breach.

Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.
