Personal Business Leave A. Each teacher shall be granted three (3) days of personal business leave each year to conduct personal business that must be conducted at times that school is in session. Each day shall be granted with the teacher receiving his/her full contract salary. (Rev: 2007)
Personal Leave With Pay Full-time employees who are eligible to accrue sick leave may use up to a maximum of six days personal leave with pay per year provided that such days shall be charged against the employee's currently accrued sick leave. This leave is non-cumulative.
Personal Business Users may not use the Fitness Center premises for personal business without prior written approval by an authorized representative of the Fitness Center, which approval may be withheld in the Fitness Center’s sole and absolute discretion.
Business Leave Each teacher shall be allowed five (5) days* per year non-accumulative, deducted from sick leave allowance, for employee absence due to emergency, business, professional, household, or personal matters that cannot be attended to outside of working hours. Prior approval must be given by the administration with the exception of emergencies. The use of business leave will be allowed immediately preceding or following a school holiday, provided a substitute is available. In no instance shall more than two (2) teachers from Xxxx Xxxxx Middle School, two (2) teachers from College Place High School, and four (4) teachers from Xxxxx Elementary School be allowed business leave on the same day. *For those in their 20th year, see section J, Personal Leave
Other Leave with Pay The Employer may grant leave with pay for purposes other than those specified in this Agreement, including military or civil defence training, and emergencies affecting the community or place of work.
PRIVATE BUSINESS/GENERAL/PERSONAL LEAVES OF ABSENCE 12.1. In consultation with the principal and with two (2) weeks notice where possible, a teacher shall be granted two (2) days personal leave per school year, except where circumstances put such a leave in conflict with the interests of the school. Personal/Xxxxx’s Leave 7.3.1 All full time employees shall be entitled to accrue paid personal / carer's leave on the basis of 10 days per year (or pro-rata thereof for any period less than one year). Part-time employees are entitled to a pro-rata benefit. Paid personal / carer's leave is cumulative.
Personal Business Day On April 01 of each fiscal year, one (1) day (eight (8) hours) of paid leave will be credited to employees for use in personal or special circumstances. At no time will an employee have a credit of more than ten (10) Personal Business Days. The granting of such personal leave will be subject to normal approval by supervision subject to operational requirements, and will not be unreasonably withheld. Upon termination of employment with the Company, unused day(s) will be paid off at the employee's current salary in effect at the time.
Personnel Selection Leave With Pay Where an employee participates in a personnel selection process, including the appeal process where applicable, for a position in the Public Service or in the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, as defined in the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the employee is entitled to leave with pay for the period during which the employee's presence is required for purposes of the selection process, and for such further period as the Employer considers reasonable for the employee to travel to and from the place where his presence is so required.
Personal Business Days Employees may use of to three (3) personal business days, one of which may be an undeclared personal business day, which will be deducted from the employee's sick bank.
