PERSONAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT. 13.1 While not being part of any issue of work clothing/equipment supplied (see clause 46), the company shall be required to provide the following personal protective equipment (SAA approved) for use, when necessary, by employees during the performance of their required duties:

If the employee terminates their employment within the first three (3) months of employment all protective clothing in the possession of the employee shall be returned to the Company, and unaccounted for items will be charged to the employee on a pro-rata basis. The professional image of a Company is enhanced if employees look neat and give the appearance of being part of a team. The protective clothing that is supplied by the Company shall be worn by employees at all times to help achieve this image. Records must be provided by the Principal Contractor 76 of 115 Reference no CTIA7374/2023/RFP prior to the commencement of construction work. The Principal Contractor must ensure that SABS approved personal protective equipment or clothing is provided to personnel. The Principal Contractor must ensure that no personnel are allowed to work on site without necessary personal protective equipment or clothing. The Principal Contractor must ensure that PPE or Clothing is kept in good working order and clearly stipulate procedures to be followed when PPE or Clothing is lost or stolen, worn or damaged. ACSA will remove any person from the construction site who is working without necessary personal protective equipment and/or clothing. Worn or tattered personal protective clothing will not be permitted on airport premises.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING & EQUIPMENT. 14.1 The Client agrees that it is in the best position to establish whether protective clothing and/or equipment is required by the Temporary in performing the Assignment, and if so, the exact requirements. For this reason, the Client agrees to provide to the Temporary any protective clothing and / or equipment required, unless the Temporary voluntarily agrees to provide his or her own clothing or equipment.
