PHYSICAL FITNESS AND WELLNESS. SECTION 15.1 - ROUTINE PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS Regular employees shall have a minimum of one physical examination bi-annually until the age of forty-five (45) and annually thereafter. The township shall pay the cost of such examinations. These examinations shall be performed by a qualified physician which shall be designated by the township. These examinations shall be for the purpose of determining the employee’s ability to perform his duties with average efficiency.

PHYSICAL FITNESS AND WELLNESS. Section 1: The Union and the City agree that the physical fitness of Union members is important to their health and safety. Physical fitness is the personal responsibility of each Union member. The City and the Union both support and encourage firefighters to be physically active and to be involved in a personal program of regular exercise. Toward that end, Union firefighters shall perform one (1) hour of physical fitness per duty shift, and may have an annual body composition analysis, paid for by the City, with the results being confidential to the Union member.
PHYSICAL FITNESS AND WELLNESS. Section 1. The City will provide a fitness area at each permanent city-owned fire station and maintain all City purchased equipment for those areas. Fitness areas inside the fire stations may be used by bargaining unit employees any time on duty, provided the daily duties and assignments are complete.
PHYSICAL FITNESS AND WELLNESS. The City will provide health screenings at no cost to the Members in accordance with Appendix A, attached hereto, unless otherwise agreed to by the City and the Union. The Union agrees that it is a condition of continued employment that all Members participate in this screening, except that those screenings available through employee health insurance are voluntary and are only available free in accordance with terms of the employee health insurance. The City recognizes that the Members may, in the course of their duties, be exposed to infectious diseases, such as, but not limited to, tuberculosis, hepatitis B, and the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), as well as to a variety of known carcinogens. The City agrees to, on an annual basis, provide training to the Members aimed at preventing such exposures in the workplace. The City will make reasonable efforts to prevent such exposures. The City will maintain an accessible reporting system by which Members can document exposures to infectious diseases and/or hazardous substances, and the City will ensure that the Members are encouraged to report exposures to the City's Risk Management division as they become aware of them. The City's Risk Management division will assure all claims are filed with the Missouri Division of Workers' Compensation.
PHYSICAL FITNESS AND WELLNESS. 14.1 It is understood that the City retains the right to require employees to be in good physical condition so that they are able to perform the essential duties described in the City of Tallahassee job specification for Sergeant or Lieutenant. Employees hired after October 1, 2020, will be required to maintain a physical fitness standard annually that was completed as a new hire listed below. The Physical Ability Test Battery shall be administered by the City of Tallahassee during the months of May and November. The bargaining unit member can choose to either participate in May or November but must do so once per calendar year unless the bargaining unit member provides medical documentation outlining their restriction in participation. PHYSICAL ABILITY TEST BATTERY – Hired AFTER October 1, 2020 The Physical Ability Test for each test item is recorded and added on the individual participant’s sheet. The member must perform at least the minimum required number of correct sit-ups/push-ups and complete the walk or the run within the minimal time for their age group. The correct method for completing the pushups and sit-ups will follow Xxxxxx Standards that are effective October 1, 2020. The Training Section of the Police Department shall be responsible for administering the qualifying test provided for in section (14.1 and 14.2).

  • Employee Access to Personnel File An employee shall have the right to read and review his/her personnel file on reasonable notice and by written request to the Human Resources Manager. An employee may request and shall receive a copy of any record or document contained in the employee’s personnel file.

  • Access to Personnel File Each employee shall have reasonable access to his/her personnel file for the purpose of reviewing any evaluations or formal disciplinary notations contained therein, in the presence of the Director of Personnel or designate. An employee has the right to request copies of any evaluations in this file.
