A player undertakes the obligation to practice and play football with his club during the contract period according to decisions of its Board of Directors and participate in joint projects of the club’s players in consultation with its board. A player shall give notice of all absences to the club's board or its representative (trainer). b. A player shall completely follow the rules set in preparation for games and shall use the equipment that the club formally requests be used. c. A player shall take care that all his conduct and way of speaking reflect well on the club and the sport of football and promote its positive image. d. If a player violates this duty and/or articles 4.3. and 4.4. of KSÍ regulations on football tournaments (Reglugerð KSÍ um knattspyrnumót), it may result in termination of his contract without notice. If a player becomes involved in match fixing on football within Iceland, directly or indirectly, it may result in termination of his contract without notice. e. A player shall at all times and with regards to any activity follow the rules in place regarding prohibited drugs and prohibited methods in that relation, according to the WADA list of banned substances. A player shall acquaint himself with the rules and regulations regarding substance use with in the Icelandic sporting environment. A player shall take caution when using food supplements f. A player cannot make claims for payments other than those appearing in this contract. Player’s duties. 6.1 The Player undertakes to the Agent that: (a) the Player shall take all other reasonable steps necessary to assist the Agent in carrying out the Agent’s duties under this Agreement; including: (i) responding promptly to telephone calls and requests to attend at the Agent’s offices for consultation and to provide instructions; (ii) attending all meetings at the appointed time as reasonably notified by the Agent; (iii) attending and undertaking press and promotional interviews and appearances as arranged by the Agent; (iv) keeping the Agent informed of the Player’s current contact details including address and telephone numbers; (v) participating as a player of the Game to the best of the Player’s ability in compliance with WRU Rules and Regulations and IRB Regulations as amended from time to time; and (vi) acting in accordance with the Player’s obligations under any relevant Playing Contract; and (b) the Player shall take any necessary and reasonable steps to enable the Agent to market the Commercial Rights in accordance with this Agreement. 6.2 The Player will, if requested by the Agent, provide: (a) confirmation of the Player’s identity in the form of appropriate documentary evidence; (b) true and correct evidence of the Player’s experience, training and membership of his Club; (c) confirmation (in writing if requested) that the Player is willing to be employed to play the Game; and (d) confirmation (in writing if requested) that there are no circumstances or any facts that might jeopardise the Player’s ability to play the Game (of which the Player has not informed the Agent). 6.3 If the Player becomes aware of any circumstance or fact at any time, even after having begun employment with a Club, which might jeopardise the Player’s ability to play the Game, the Player shall forthwith inform the Agent.

However, the Player shall use the transportation and accommodation facilities designated by the Club for training, matches and other official Club activities outside of Hong Kong, and the relevant expenses shall be borne by the Club. 4.6 The Player must maintain a healthy lifestyle and a high standard of fitness at all times during the Contract Period. 4.7 The Player shall behave in a sporting manner towards all others involved in matches and training (including but not limited to teammates, opposition players, Club staff and match officials), which shall include learning and observing the laws of the game and accepting decisions of match officials. 4.8 The Player shall not participate in football activities other than pursuant to this Agreement or in potentially dangerous activities which are not covered by the Club’s insurance, in each case, without prior approval from the Club. 4.9 The Player shall take due care of any Club property used by him. The Player shall promptly whenever requested by the Club and in any event upon termination of his engagement deliver up to the Club all Club property in good condition (or similar condition when passed to the Player) which may then be in his possession or under his power or control and the Player shall not be entitled to and shall not retain any copies thereof. Such events shall be organized in such a way that they do not overlap with the team’s joint holidays / training leave periods (with the exception of Mestis- gala or other similar awarding ceremony). Such amount need not be accepted for deposit in the Escrow Account until such discrepancy has been resolved. 5.4 The Escrow Agent shall be under no duty or responsibility to enforce collection of any check delivered to it hereunder. The Escrow Agent, within a reasonable time, shall return to the Issuer any check received which is dishonored, together with Subscription Information, if any, which accompanied such check. 5.5 The Escrow Agent shall be entitled to rely upon the accuracy, act in reliance upon the contents, and assume the genuineness of any notice, instruction, certificate, signature, instrument or other document which is given to the Escrow Agent pursuant to this Agreement without the necessity of the Escrow Agent verifying the truth or accuracy thereof. The Escrow Agent shall not be obligated to make any inquiry as to the authority, capacity, existence or identity of any person purporting to give any such notice or instructions or to execute any such certificate, instrument or other document. 5.6 If the Escrow Agent is uncertain as to its duties or rights hereunder or shall receive instructions with respect to the Bank Account, the Escrow Amounts or the Fund which, in its sole determination, are in conflict either with other instructions received by it or with any provision of this Agreement, it shall be entitled to hold the Escrow Amounts, the Fund, or a portion thereof, in the Bank Account pending the resolution of such uncertainty to the Escrow Agent’s sole satisfaction, by final judgment of a court or courts of competent jurisdiction or otherwise; or the Escrow Agent, at its sole option, may deposit the Fund (and any other Escrow Amounts that thereafter become part of the Fund) with the Clerk of a court of competent jurisdiction in a proceeding to which all parties in interest are joined. Upon the deposit by the Escrow Agent of the Fund with the Clerk of any such court, the Escrow Agent shall be relieved of all further obligations and released from all liability hereunder. 5.7 The Escrow Agent shall not be liable for any action taken or omitted hereunder, or for the misconduct of any employee, agent or attorney appointed by it, except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence. The Escrow Agent shall be entitled to consult with counsel of its own choosing and shall not be liable for any action taken, suffered or omitted by it in accordance with the advice of such counsel. 5.8 The Escrow Agent shall have no responsibility at any time to ascertain whether or not any security interest exists in the Escrow Amounts, the Fund or any part thereof or to file any financing statement under the Uniform Commercial Code with respect to the Fund or any part thereof.

  • Employee’s Duties 11.1 Every employee must at all times: (a) perform his/her duties with due care and diligence; (b) comply with the lawful instructions of management; (c) not engage in inappropriate behaviour; and (d) comply with policies, procedures and rules in operation at the time. 11.2 In respect of policies, procedures and rules, subject to the law these may deal with such matters as: safe work practices, personal grooming and appearance, clothing and footwear, attendance at training programs, behaviour and performance standards, the searching of lockers, private bags and private vehicles, unauthorised absences, provision of full and accurate information and specific work practices. (b) Linfox will ensure that all employees are adequately informed of the requirements in place from time to time. 11.4 In the case of locker searches, the individual employee and, where he/she wishes, the union delegate or other readily available nominated employee, must be in attendance at the time. 11.5 All grievances and disputes about industrial matters must be handled strictly in accordance with the steps set out in clause 20 (Disputes). This includes, if the matter is not resolved at an earlier stage in the process, reference to the TWU State Secretary and, if still not resolved, reference to the Industrial Relations Commission. 11.6 All yard meetings during working time for Union business must be at an agreed time for a short duration without disruption to the operations of the contract.
