Pre-Grievance. 12.2.1 The aggrieved employee, alone or with a xxxxxxx of the Association, may first, take up the matter with the appropriate Xxxx involved, alone or with any other member of the College staff, within 30 working days of the date on which the incident giving rise to the grievance occurred or of the time when the grievor could have reasonably been expected to become aware of the incident, whichever is later. This stage shall not exceed 7 working days.
Pre-Grievance. A member with a potential grievance, along with an Association representative of the member’s choosing, may seek out their supervisor and attempt to resolve a potential grievance verbally before the thirty (30) day time limit for filing at Level One lapses.
Pre-Grievance. Prior to filing a grievance, employees and/or union representative and supervisors are encouraged to meet to discuss potential grievances in an effort to resolve issues at the lowest level.

Pre-Grievance. Complaints must be taken by the employee(s), accompanied by the shop xxxxxxx if they so desire, to the employees non-union supervisor to discuss and, if possible, to resolve within two (2) days after the circumstances giving rise to the complaint have occurred or within two (2) days of the employee becoming aware of such circumstances. Such resolution of the complaint shall not contravene the terms and conditions of this Agreement but is solely for the purpose of resolving the matter and shall not be considered as precedential or binding in any other grievance dispute.
Pre-Grievance. The employee and/or Union Xxxxxxx will discuss the alleged grievance with his/her manager in an attempt to resolve the issue. The parties will jointly agree to a time frame for a response. This pre-grievance process will not extend the time limits for filing a grievance unless otherwise agreed pursuant to this Article.
Pre-Grievance. Except in the case of a grievance arising from a complaint of several individuals, or individual grievances regarding the same issue, which are consolidated and submitted at Step 2, as specified in Article 10.03, it is understood that an employee has no grievance until he/she has first given his/her Supervisor an opportunity to address his/her complaint. If an employee has a complaint, he/she must discuss it in the presence of his/her xxxxxxx, or other Union Representative, if he/she so desires, or exchange correspondence about it with the Supervisor within 20 business days after the date on which the circumstances giving rise to the complaint originated or occurred, or within 20 business days after the date on which s/he reasonably ought to have known of the circumstances giving rise to the complaint. The Supervisor must give his/her reply to the complainant, with a copy to the Union if a Union Representative attended the Pre- Grievance meeting, within 20 business days, of the matter having been brought to her/his attention. If the employee is not satisfied with the Supervisor’s response, s/he may file a written grievance in the following manner and sequence:
Pre-Grievance. Before filing any grievance, the grievant is encouraged to make every effort to resolve the matter by discussing it with his/her Adult Education Xxxx or his or her designee. The steps set forth below are to be followed for matters not resolved by such discussions.
Pre-Grievance. Nothing in this Article shall prevent an employee from discussing with his immediate supervisor any work-related condition or complaint. Such a discussion shall not be interpreted as filing a grievance. Nothing shall prevent the employee, following such discussion, from filing a grievance on the same subject matter, provided it meets the definition of a grievance as set forth in Section 2 of this Article.
Pre-Grievance. An employee has no grievance until the employee’s supervisor has had an opportunity to adjust their complaint. A member of the Grievance Committee, if so desired, may accompany the employee. If a settlement satisfactory to the employee is not reached within two (2) days, Step 1 of the Grievance Procedure may be invoked.
