Preliminary Network Definition. Xxxxxx-Xxxx will create a network definition map and deliver a digital exhibit (.PDF) capturing the scope of the assessment upon concurrence with the City. Anticipated Meetings: · Kickoff Meeting with City (1) Anticipated Deliverables: · Pavement roadway inventory data set for use in Task 2 Task 2 – Pavement Evaluation Xxxxxx-Xxxx will collect pavement condition data according to the sampling approach outlined in the ASTM D6433 standard methodology. Data collection will occur in dry conditions during daylight hours. Following data collection, Xxxxxx-Xxxx will characterize pavement distresses by type, severity, and extent to determine representative PCI values for each pavement segment. Ratings will be developed in GIS shapefile and tabular formats. Anticipated Meetings: · Coordination Meeting with City (1) Anticipated Deliverables: · None Anticipated Task 3 – Presentation of Results After reviewing the pavement condition assessment data, Xxxxxx-Xxxx will prepare a brief technical memorandum summarizing the results of the pavement evaluation. The technical memo will include the extent of centerline miles evaluated, the aggregate condition of the network, and up to five (5) figures summarizing the results of the assessment. Anticipated Meetings: · Coordination Meeting with City (1) Anticipated Deliverables: · Final Technical Memorandum with figures Task 4 – Drainage Deficiency Area Study Xxxxxx-Xxxx will use the centerline data along with County of Los Angeles parcel data to prepare a City base map. Using the base map, Xxxxxx-Xxxx will locate and identify areas within the public right- of-way that are experiencing insufficient drainage. The identification will incorporate an approximate square footage of the deficient area, with a notation if the area is for an asphalt concrete street area, Portland cement concrete sidewalk, or curb and gutter area. Recommendations will be generalized to include but not limited to repairing deficient areas under the City’s capital improvement program, funding by grant opportunities, and future private development with conditions of approval.
