Overtime on a Holiday. (a) Where an Employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, they will receive compensation equal to 3.33 times their regular rate as follows:
(i) compensation at 2.33 times their regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(ii) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour for hour basis at a mutually acceptable time in accordance with Article 18.11.
(b) Where time off with pay in lieu of the holiday has not been granted in accordance with Article 18.06 (a)(ii), compensation shall be granted at the Employee’s regular rate of pay for those hours worked on the holiday.
Overtime on a Holiday. An employee is entitled to compensation two point three-three (2.33) times her regular rate of pay for overtime worked on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 19.01, calculated in accordance with the provisions of Article 16.02, based on the employee's regular bi-weekly rate of pay in effect for the regular shift prior to the period in which the overtime is worked.
Overtime on a Holiday. (i) Where a full-time employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 21.01, she will receive compensation equal to three point-three-three (3.33) times her regular rate as follows:
(A) compensation at two point three-three (2.33) times her regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(B) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour-for-hour basis at a mutually acceptable time prior to the end of the second calendar month immediately following the month in which the holiday fell.
(ii) Where a part-time employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 21.01, she will receive compensation at two point three-three (2.33) times her regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday.
Overtime on a Holiday. (a) Where a Nurse is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 10.18, the Nurse will receive compensation equal to 3.33 times the Nurse’s regular rate as follows:
(i) compensation at 2.33 times the Nurse’s regular rate of pay, including the holiday pay, for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(ii) time off with pay in lieu of the holiday on an hour for hour basis at a mutually acceptable time subject to Article 10.30.
(b) Where time off with pay in lieu of the holiday has not been granted in accordance with Article 10.24 (a)(ii), compensation shall be granted at the Nurse’s regular rate of pay for those hours worked on the holiday.
Overtime on a Holiday. A casual employee filling a relief assignment who works overtime on a designated holiday as defined in Article 17.01 shall be paid two and one-half (2 ½) times her regular rate for all overtime hours worked on Christmas Day and two (2) times her regular rate of pay for all overtime hours worked on any other designated holiday.
Overtime on a Holiday. Overtime work on a paid holiday when an employee was not scheduled to work will be paid for at the rate of time and one-half (1½) for the hours worked, and he/she shall receive a day in lieu of such holiday at a time designated by the employee and acceptable to the Employer or he/she shall be paid time and one-half (1½) for the hours worked plus regular pay for such holiday.
Overtime on a Holiday. (a) When an employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 22.01, he/she will receive compensation equal to three (3) times his/her regular rate as follows:
(i) compensation at two (2) times his/her regular rate for the hours worked on the holiday; and
(ii) holiday pay for the holiday, as defined in Article 22.01.
(b) An employee may request time off with pay in lieu of compensation under 22.06 (a)(i) above, at a mutually acceptable time prior to the end of the second calendar month immediately following the month in which the holiday fell. In the case of seasonal employees, the parties acknowledge that the Employer’s ability to schedule the holiday at a mutually acceptable time may be restricted.
(c) Where time off with pay in lieu of the holiday has not been granted in accordance with Article 22.06 (b), compensation shall be granted at the employee’s regular rate of pay for those hours worked on the holiday.
(d) Where operational requirements permit, the Deputy Head may authorize an extension of time limits provided in (b) above.
Overtime on a Holiday. If a holiday falls on a day an employee normally works, and if the City needs that employee's job performed on that date, the employee will be assigned to work that day, and those overtime hours will not be counted as a portion of the overtime hours to be distributed as equally as possible.
Overtime on a Holiday. If an employee is required to work additional hours (on a paid holiday) following her or his full shift on that day (but not including hours on a subsequent regularly scheduled shift for such Radiation Therapists), such Radiation Therapist shall receive two (2) times her or his regular straight time hourly rate for such additional hours worked.
Overtime on a Holiday. Where an employee is required to work authorized overtime in excess of his regularly scheduled hours on a paid holiday, such employee shall receive twice his regular straight time hourly rate for such authorized overtime.
