Professional Training Fund. The District will allocate $10,000 dollars annually for group training specific for unit members as designated jointly by College and District Management and SEIU Local 721. The $10,000 fund shall be distributed equally among the nine colleges and the Educational Services Center (ESC). The allocation shall be placed in each worksite’s Staff Development Fund to sponsor workshops and training for SEIU Local 721 members. ARTICLE 16 HEALTH AND WELFARE The Los Angeles Community College District (the “District”) and the exclusive representatives of the District’s employees (the Los Angeles College Faculty Guild, AFT Local 1521; the AFT College Staff Guild, Los Angeles, AFT Local 1521A; the Los Angeles City and County School Employees Union, SEIU Local 99; the Los Angeles/Orange Counties Building and Construction Trades Council; The Los Angeles Community College District Administrators' Unit Represented by California Teamsters Public, Professional & Medical Employees Union Local 911, and the Supervisory Employees Union, SEIU Local 721 hereinafter collectively referred to as the District’s “Exclusive Representatives”) agree to the following provisions regarding the District’s Health Benefits Program, group life insurance coverage and employee assistance program. This agreement is intended to replace all existing agreements between the parties on the subject of the District’s Health Benefits Program as defined in this agreement, as well as the District’s group life insurance coverage and employee assistance program/wellness services, and for that reason shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any of the individual agreements between the District and its Exclusive Representatives, entirely supersede all previously negotiated agreements between the parties with respect to those subjects A. The District’s “Health Benefits Program” consists of group benefit plans recommended by the Joint Labor/Management Benefits Committee (JLMBC) and approved by the District’s Board of Trustees (the “Board) under which eligible District employees (and their eligible dependents) receive hospital, medical, dental, and vision care coverage. The $10,000 fund shall be distributed equally among the nine colleges and the Educational Services Center (ESC). The allocation shall be placed in each worksite’s Staff Development Fund to sponsor workshops and training for SEIU Local 721 members. For the 2022-23 fiscal year, any undisbursed funds remaining in the training fund shall be rolled over to augment the 2023-24 allocation to the worksites. Any undisbursed funds at the end of the 2023-24 fiscal year will not be rolled over to any subsequent fiscal year.

  • Training Fund Employers and/or individuals who manage, operate, assist or own, either partially or wholly, a company or companies working non-union in the construction industry on Mainland Nova Scotia within the craft jurisdiction of xxx Xxxxxxxxxx Local 83 shall not be eligible to be appointed to serve, or to continue to serve, as trustees on any trust fund referred to within this Collective Agreement.   • Additional Training Should the introduction of new methods of operation create a need for the perfection or acquisition of skills requiring a training period longer than one (1) year, the additional training time shall be a subject for discussion between the Board and the Union.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

  • Technical Training The CAISO and the Participating TOs shall respond to reasonable requests for support and provide relevant technical training to each other’s employees to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the CAISO Controlled Grid and to comply with any NERC or WECC operator certification or training requirements. Examples of such technical training include, but are not limited to: (1) the theory or operation of new or modified equipment (e.g., control systems, Remedial Action Schemes, protective relays); (2) computer and applicator programs; and (3) CAISO (or Participating TO) requirements. The Parties shall enter into agreements regarding the timing, term, locations, and cost allocation for the training.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff. 3.3.5.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide an initial orientation and training as well as ongoing training, including training targeted to different types of staff, to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Including targeted training regarding: 3.3.5.2.1 Care Coordination; 3.3.5.2.2 Nursing Facility Level of Care Determinations; 3.3.5.2.3 Setting of Care Submissions; 3.3.5.2.4 Community Benefit Services and Supplemental Questionnaire; and

  • Hospice Individuals whose permanent residence and principal work location are outside the State of Minnesota and outside of the service areas of the health plans participating in Advantage. If these individuals use the plan administrator’s national preferred provider organization in their area, services will be covered at Benefit Level Two. If a national preferred provider is not available in their area, services will be covered at Benefit Level Two through any other provider available in their area. If the national preferred provider organization is available but not used, benefits will be paid at the POS level described in paragraph “i” below. All terms and conditions outlined in the Summary of Benefits will apply.
