Promotion Probation. In the event of movement from one class to another, regular permanent employees shall serve a 130 working day probationary period. Promotional probationary employees under this provision may be reassigned to their prior class for unsatisfactory service. In the case of a permanent employee who moves from one class to another, promotional probationary employees under this provision shall be afforded all rights granted regular permanent employees.
Promotion Probation. Upon promotion, employees shall serve a probationary period of three (3) months from the date of appointment. Should an employee's performance fail to meet the requirements of the new position, or if the employee so chooses, they shall be returned to their former position with no loss of seniority.
Promotion Probation a. The maximum length of the promotional probationary period shall be six (6) months. Within the first fifteen (15) days, the promoted employee may notify the District administration in writing that he/she wishes to return to the previously held position. Requests may be considered by the District, if the previous position is available. Within six (6) months, the District may decide that the employee will return to an assignment within the previous classification.
Promotion Probation. An employee promoted to another position shall serve a probationary period of forty-five (45) consecutive working days. If the employee is deemed unsatisfactory in that position, the District shall have the unlimited right to return the employee to his/her former position.
Promotion Probation. Unit members who are promoted shall serve a four-month probation period in the new position. If the unit member receives an unsatisfactory evaluation or if the unit member so requests in writing within the four- month period, the unit member shall be returned to his/her former position without prejudice. The District shall not be restricted in determining whether in its sole discretion it will fill a former position either permanently or on an interim basis and whether or not a substitute will be utilized.
Promotion Probation. Each employee that is promoted or transferred will serve a one hundred eighty (180) day probationary period. An employee serving a promotional probationary period may be returned to their former position and rate of pay if their work performance, behavior and/or work attitude is not satisfactory to the Employer. Prior to the end of a sixty (60) working day period an employee dissatisfied with his/her new position may request to return to the position in which he/she previously worked.
Promotion Probation. An employee promoted shall serve a probationary period of 90 calendar days. During this 90-day probationary period, if it is determined by the school district that the employee’s performance is unsatisfactory, the school district shall have the unqualified right to reassign the employee to his/her former position.
Promotion Probation. Any employee promoted to a new job shall serve a thirty (30) working-day probationary period. If the employee is found to be unsatisfactory, he/she shall be returned to his/her former position with no loss of seniority.
Promotion Probation. When an employee is promoted to a higher rank within the bargaining unit, there shall be a probationary period of six (6) months at the new rank. The Chief of Police may extend the probationary period but, in no event will the total probationary period be longer than twelve (12) months. If, during the probationary period, the Chief determines that the employee is not performing satisfactorily, he shall inform the employee in writing that he is to be returned to the employee's former rank. If an employee is promoted to a grade that pays less he will continue to receive his previous higher pay.
Promotion Probation a. The maximum length of the promotional probationary period shall be six
