RDO s need not apply where weekly ordinary hours are rostered over fewer than five days per week, eg four day week or nine day fortnight.
RDO. The employee shall notify his or her supervisor of his or her election to work or use holiday or vacation time as provided above in accordance with his or her department’s normal departmental reporting procedures.
RDO s must be accrued during these periods at distant project work.

RDO. 34 volunteers who sign up for more than one (1) choice, will clarify their 35 preference(s). RDO volunteers will be assigned by Company seniority 36 within the classification. The volunteer will be assigned the maximum 37 numbers of hours available. 38
RDO s shall not be rostered to coincide with a public holiday fixed in accordance with Public Holidays Clause of this agreement. Provided that, in the event that a public holiday is prescribed after an employee is given notice of the employee’s weekday off in accordance with clause S4.24.2 of this agreement and the public holiday falls on the weekday the employee is to take off, SPCA shall allow the employee to take the day off on an alternate weekday.
RDO. Regular Day Off
RDO not to coincide with public holiday Where an employee’s ordinary hours are arranged in accordance with 20.7 hereof the weekday or part of the weekday taken off shall not coincide with a public holiday as prescribed in the Public Holidays or Holiday and Sunday work. Provided that where a public holiday is prescribed after an employee has been given notice of a weekday off, 20.8.3 hereof shall apply.
RDO. An RDO is a Rostered Day Off which means a day upon which a full time Employee is not rostered for duty (except because of a weekend or Public Holiday). Redundancy has the meaning in the Act. Unions means (as applicable) the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation – NSW Branch, and the Health Services Union, New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory.
