RECOGNITION FOR RELEVANT EXPERIENCE. Newly hired Employees shall receive up to seven (7)years of experience based on their previous relevant experience. No newly hired employee will receive an hourly rate that is above current employees with the same experience. Such advance placement on the hiring scale will not be considered for the purposes of other benefits. Within thirty (30) days following the ratification of the Agreement, the Employer will perform an equity review of employee wages covered under this Agreement. Employees previously credited with three (3) years of experience and whose additional experience was not credited shall have their wage adjusted retro-actively to the fist pay period following ratification to the appropriate number of years’ experience, up to seven (7). The Union will be provided notice and an opportunity to discuss this equity review, though any wage modification will occur at the Employer's discretion following discussion with the Union, if requested.

In the event an employee’s base rate is overscale on the wage scale in effect prior to the ratification of this Agreement, the employee will be placed on the new scale commensurate with their experience or at the step above their rate prior to ratification, whichever is greater.

For LPN’s the same shall apply, but from the date of the individual’s first licensure as an LPN. For all other positions, relevant experience shall be prior experience is a similar job classification in a nursing home or other, similar institutional setting. Newly hired employees shall not be paid a higher wage than an incumbent employee in the same position with the same experience.

Related to RECOGNITION FOR RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Recognition for Past Experience All RNs hired during the term of this Agreement shall be given full credit (year for year) for continuous recent experience when placed on the wage scale. For the purpose of this section, continuous recent experience as a registered nurse shall be defined as clinical nursing experience in an accredited hospital or skilled nursing facility (including temporary employment with an employer) without a break in nursing experience that would reduce the level of nursing skills in the opinion of the Employer.

  • Recognition of Previous Experience (a) The Employer will recognize recent related RN experience on the basis of one (1) annual increment for each one (1) year of service up to the maximum of the grid. Part-time service shall be recognized on the basis of fifteen hundred (1500) hours paid in previous employment equals one

  • Related Experience Previous experience related to the duties associated with the position.

  • Recognition of Service and Experience (a) From the time of commencement of employment an employee has three months in which to provide documentary evidence to the employer detailing any other relevant service or experience not disclosed at the time of commencement. This evidence, in the absence of other documentary evidence, may take the form of a statutory declaration.

  • General Experience The Applicant shall meet the following minimum criteria: -

  • Termination for Market Change (a) In the event of delay or interruption under B8.33, exceeding 90 days, and Contract has not been modified to include replacement timber, this contract may be terminated upon election and written notice by Purchaser, if (i) a rate redetermination for market change under B3.33 shows that the appraised weighted average Indicated Advertised Rate of all Included Timber remaining immediately prior to the delay or interruption has been reduced through a market change by an amount equal to or more than the the weighted average Current Contract Rate, or (ii) the appraised value of the remaining timber is insufficient to cover the adjusted base rates as determined under B3.33.

  • Service Level Expectations Without limiting any other requirements of the Agreement, the Service Provider shall meet or exceed the following standards, policies, and guidelines:

  • Work Experience Formula hour equivalents will be given on the basis of the following number of students enrolled at fourth week census: 5-14 students enrolled = 1 (one) formula hour 15-24 students enrolled = 2 (two) formula hours 25-34 students enrolled = 3 (three) formula hours

  • Sole Source as Grounds for Rejection of a Change Order If a Change Order is submitted to Contractor for the purposes of adding a Bulletin to this Contract and said Bulletin designates a Sole Source from which Contractor is required to procure goods or services necessary to perform the Work, which Sole Source has not been designated previously, Contractor shall be entitled to reject the proposed Change Order if the designated Sole Source refuses to provide to Contractor the warranties, bonds, terms or schedule required under the Contract Documents, including any warranty or terms or schedule required by Bulletins referenced in the proposed Change Order. In such event, Contractor shall give written notice to the Owner rejecting the proposed Change Order and, if possible, shall accompany said written notice with a proposal from Contractor for changes or modifications to the Bulletin so as to eliminate the Sole Source designation but to achieve goods or services equal in quality or function. The Owner may then require the Design Professional to revise the subject Bulletin so as to eliminate the designation of the Sole Source by incorporation of Contractor's proposal or otherwise. Upon revision of the Bulletin by the Design Professional and approval thereof by the Owner, the Owner shall again submit to the Contractor a proposed Change Order for the purpose of adding the revised Bulletin to this Contract. If the Owner decides to retain the Sole Source in the Change Order and Contractor cannot acquire the full contractually required warranties from the Sole Source, Contractor shall be held only to the warranty terms and schedule obtainable from the Sole Source.
