Remote Deposit Capture Service. The following terms and conditions govern the use of the Remote Deposit Capture Services. You have entered into with the Credit Union governing your accounts are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement. In case of any conflict between this Agreement and your other Credit Union agreements, specific provisions regarding Remote Deposit Capture Services in this Agreement control over general provisions.
Remote Deposit Capture Service. The Credit Union will provide to you an application to apply to use Hartford Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union’s Remote Deposit Capture Service. Following your receipt from the Credit Union of notification approving your use of the Service, you are authorized to remotely deposit paper checks you receive to your account with the Credit Union by electronically transmitting a digital image of the front and back of the paper check to Cencap Federal Credit Union. We will notify you via email (list any other method of contact). You agree to notify us immediately if you change your email address, as this is the email address where we may send you notification of receipt of mobile deposits. Both the Credit Union and the Member will comply with the terms and provisions of this Agreement with respect to the use of the Remote Deposit Capture and the performance of the Service.
Remote Deposit Capture Service. If Customer has requested and been approved to use the Remote Deposit Capture (“RDC”) Service, Customer will have the ability to scan checks received for payment, create deposits, and electronically transfer those deposits for credit to one or more of Customer’s demand deposit accounts (“DDAs”) maintained at Bank and designated in writing by Customer (the “RDC Account”). Images of checks scanned by Customer will be transmitted through a secure, browser based user interface. Customer understands and agrees that the RDC Services may be provided directly to Customer by Bank or by Bank’s designated third party vendor. Customer also understands that, at the option of Bank or as otherwise necessary, Bank or its vendor will prepare “Substitute Checks” / Image Replacement Documents (as that term is defined in the Check Clearing For the 21st Century Act (Check 21 Law), and implemented through Regulation CC, 12 C.F.R. Part 229) to facilitate the deposit and collection of Customer’s items. Bank may use any means and routes that Bank (or its vendor), in its sole discretion, may consider suitable for the processing of deposits.
Remote Deposit Capture Service. The Service is designed to allow you to make deposits of paper checks (“Original Checks”) to your checking, or savings Deposit Accounts with the Credit Union (“Mobile Deposit Accounts”) from home or other remote locations by using your eligible camera-enlarged Mobile Device to capture images of the Original Checks and transmitting the digital images and associated deposit information (“Images”) to us or our Processor with your Mobile Device. • Eligibility: (a) You must be enrolled in Online Banking (b) have one or more eligible Deposit Accounts with us for at least 30 days to deposit negotiable items to your account, or make loan payments here at SANTA FE FCU. • Enrollment: In order to use Remote Deposit Capture, you must: (a) have an eligible Mobile Device, and (b) enroll in Santa Fe FCU Online Banking Service first. Only certain camera-enabled Mobile Devices may be used with the Service, as specified by us from time to time. It is your responsibility to provide us with accurate, complete and current information about you and your Mobile Device (including its telephone number, the telecommunications carrier, and your email address), and to notify us immediately if any of this information changes or if service to you Mobile Device is terminated. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel your registration for the Service if we cannot verify information about you and/or your Mobile Device. • Fees and charges: At the present time, REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE is a free service through SANTA FE FCU. In the event, the credit union decided to charge for the service you would be notified. You agree to pay any additional reasonable charges for services you request, which are not covered by this Agreement. You are also responsible for telephone/mobile and Internet service fees you incur in connection with your use of REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE Service. • Unavailability: Remote Deposit may be unavailable temporarily due to system maintenance or technical difficulties, including those of the internet service provider, cellular service provider and Internet software. In the event Remote Deposit Capture is unavailable, you may deposit Original Checks at our branches or through our night deposit or by mailing the Original Check to: (a) XX Xxx 00000, Xxxxxxxx, XX 00000
(b) XX Xxx 00000, Xxxxxxxxxxx, XX, 00000.
Remote Deposit Capture Service you can use this Service to scan images of checks and other items (“Checks”) and then transmit those images and other data to us electronically for deposit to your account. The Checks will then either be processed electronically or converted to substitute checks (“Substitute Checks”) based on the information you provide.
Remote Deposit Capture Service. (a) Purpose. Customer desires to subscribe to the Bank’s Remote Deposit Capture Service in order to enable Customer to submit to Bank, for deposit to Customer’s account(s), electronic check images and associated information (“Check Images”) in lieu of the original, paper checks from which such Check Images were obtained, and Bank is agreeable to providing such services on the terms and conditions set forth herein.
Remote Deposit Capture Service. This Remote Deposit Capture Service (“Remote Deposit”) allows Customer to create images of Eligible Items (as defined herein) that it receives, and then transmit these images electronically to Provident for deposit into an Account maintained by Customer with Provident. Provident will then attempt to process and collect these deposited images for payment. As used herein, “Image” means an electronic reproduction of the front and back of Eligible Items.
Remote Deposit Capture Service. You can use this Service to convert paper checks and other items into electronic form and transmit those items to us electronically for deposit to your account. (In this Section, the term “Check” shall refer to the original paper check or other item, or the image of such paper item that you transmit to us, as the context requires.) The Checks will then either be collected electronically or reprinted as substitute paper checks (“Substitute Checks”).
Remote Deposit Capture Service. 6.2.1. Member's Account will be provisionally credited upon Credit Union's acceptance of Imaged Items for deposit which are received by Credit Union from Member through the Services.
6.2.2. Member will create images of Checks at Member's location by use of scanning hardware and Software or a mobile device approved by Credit Union. Member will enter all amounts and any other required information correctly.
6.2.3. The Imaged Items will be transmitted by Member to Credit Union, or Credit Union's authorized processor, over the Internet through a web-based interface using a minimum 128-bit RC4 encryption software to zip, encrypt and password protect the electronic File.
6.2.4. Member will maintain the appropriate Account for Member to receive credit and provide other specific information required by Credit Union related to the Services. Imaged Items are not considered received by Credit Union until Credit Union has confirmed receipt by posting a notation in the deposit history area of the Online Banking service or by emailing Member. Receipt of an Imaged Item does not constitute an acknowledgement by us that the Item is error-free or that we will be liable for the Item. Member acknowledges that wireless communications may not be encrypted and that there are risks in transmitting data to us with a mobile device. We have implemented important measures to safeguard and secure Member’s data, but we cannot be responsible for Imaged Items not received by us or for any intrusion into or theft of any data transmitted by Member unless the loss is substantially caused by us. As set forth in paragraph 9.2, all deposits received by Credit Union are accepted subject to Credit Union's verification and final inspection and may be rejected by Credit Union in Credit Union's sole discretion. All deposits are subject to the terms of the Membership and Account Agreement, including provisional crediting and final settlement. Member acknowledges that Credit Union cannot and does not guarantee the security of information transmitted over the Internet and Member expressly agrees to assume this risk. Credit Union is not responsible for alterations made to Imaged Items in the course of transmission to us. Member is responsible for ensuring that Imaged Items transmitted to us have been received by us and credited to the designated Account in the correct amount.
Remote Deposit Capture Service. If selected by Company on the Setup Form, Bank will provide to Company RDC to enable Company to transmit images of Checks to Bank for deposit. RDC enables Company to use Equipment, consistent with the Bank’s requirements set forth in the Supporting Documents, to create Electronic Images and to transmit an Electronic File to Bank for deposit to the specified Account. After Bank receives Company’s Electronic File, Bank, at its sole option, uses the Electronic File either (a) to create Substitute Check(s), that Bank presents to the bank on which the check is either (i) drawn or (ii) payable at or through (each, “Paying Bank”); or (b) to generate one or more electronic files (from the original Electronic File) for presentment directly or indirectly to Paying Bank.
