Requirements for Equipment. All equipment must comply with the requirements as stipulated in the Environmental regulations and specifications and contained in the OHS Act. All construction plant and equipment used on this contract shall be in good working order, well maintained, of adequate size and fit for purpose. No plant or equipment that leaks oil, fuel or hydraulic fluids may be used on site. Any plant or equipment that, in the opinion of the Employer’s Agent, is not of adequate size or fit for use shall be removed from the site and replaced with acceptable plant and equipment, all at the Contractor’s cost.

Requirements for Equipment. Where applicable, minimum requirements for equipment are specified in the Standard (Clause A9.1.6 of COTO, Chapter 9) and Project specifications. The Contractor shall indicate in his Milling and Paving Method Statement how he will manage an emergency where a plant item breaks down during a milling and paving operation, or any other operation being undertaken within the 50 meter restriction zone of the main runway (from edge of both the main and secondary runways) to ensure timeous opening of the runway (during short term closures). The equipment shall as a minimum include:
i. A low bed with winch that has sufficient capacity to remove a 30 ton roller.
ii. Equipment (porta-pack) capable of releasing the hydraulics on a milling machine and undertaking the removal thereof from the runway. The Contractor shall, before the start of the milling and paving operations, successfully demonstrate to the Employer’s Agent how he will remove any substantial item of plant (i.e. milling machine, roller or paver) from the runway or graded strip when it is in a broken down state. This operation must be completed within 1 hour from the request for removal. The equipment required for this operation shall always be available on the airside of Xxxx Xxxxxxx International Airport for use in an emergency situation during a working shift where work is being carried out under short term closures on the runway or within a distance of 50m from the runway edge. Work on the runway and in the clearance zone will not be allowed if these requirements are not complied with.
Requirements for Equipment. The Contractor shall keep its vehicles in good order and repair. The Contractor shall clean and wash the trucks at a sufficient frequency to keep them clean and neat at all times. The cab and forepart of each truck shall be a uniform color. The Contractor shall paint its name on the side of each truck. The Contractor shall at all times possess and maintain adequate equipment to perform this Agreement.

Requirements for Equipment. 17.1. The Service Provider warrants the availability of spare parts for the Equipment supplied in terms of this Agreement for at least 5 (five) years after the manufacture of such Equipment was terminated by the OEM.
17.2. The Service Provider shall ensure that all Equipment shall conform to the User Requirement Specification contained in any project plan.
17.3. The Service Provider shall be responsible for obtaining the requisite permission, licenses, certificates and/or any other requirements of any law, regulation, user policy and/or code of conduct in order for the Fund to lawfully use and operate the Equipment.
17.4. The Service Provider shall supply the Fund with all OEM warranties in respect of the Equipment supplied to the Fund.
Requirements for Equipment. RESOURCES In the event that resources at an external institution shall be used, this must be specified in point 6 b)

Requirements for Equipment. The Contractor is required to use plant and equipment that is sufficient for the construction of the building and the ancillary works.
Requirements for Equipment. The Contractor shall provide all uniform and equipment to its personnel. The contractor shall provide all equipment, i.e. whistle, notepad, pen, torches, and/or supplies necessary to meet the requirements of this Contract, including handheld radio communications equipment. The security guards must be equipped with the necessary equipment for the execution of their duties and have suitable and clean uniform clothing, sufficient experience and training. EASO shall provide First-Aid Kits. For the purposes of this Contract, uniform is defined as sweater, jacket, trousers/skirt, shirt/blouse, cold weather overcoat, summer/winter headgear and boots/shoes, all of which are provided by the Contractor on a scale of issue that will ensure all uniformed personnel can achieve and maintain the appearance standards set by EASO. The Contractor’s security guards shall wear the same colour and style of uniform. The Contractor’s female personnel may wear trousers or knee length skirts of the same material and colour as the trousers of male personnel, if such clothing does not substantially interfere with their performance of duties. No decorations, military emblems or medals, awards or other ornaments that are not specified in the Contract or approved by EASO shall be worn or displayed on the uniform. All the Contractor’s uniformed security personnel shall wear a name/rank plate on the outermost garment. The nameplate shall be centred along the top right pocket seam of the shirt/blouse or jacket. Nameplates shall be uniform in size, material, size of letters and colour. No EASO reference shall be included on the nameplates or the uniforms supplied by the Contractor. Uniforms and equipment shall consist of the following items. Minor variations may be approved by the EASO Head of Administration, insofar as the intent of each item is met:
(a) Shirt, or blouse for female, long and short sleeves;
(b) Trousers, and/or skirts for female;
(c) Jacket, “Bomber” style;
(d) Shoulder patches;
(e) Name/rank plate;
(f) Winter coat;
(g) Winter headgear/gloves;
(h) Insignia or rank, as appropriate;
(i) Shoes/boots; (Sport or training shoes are not to be worn)
(j) Sweater, long sleeves; and
(k) Summer headgear. Eyewear: Only conservative prescription eyeglasses may be worn with the uniform. Sunglasses may be worn, provided however that eyeglasses that are faddish in style or in colour (bright, iridescent or fluorescent orange, yellow, red, etc.) shall not be worn.
