ROOM INSPECTION. A member of the University staff will inspect each residential space during winter break, spring break, and at departure. The resident(s) will be billed the current replacement value of those items missing, damaged or broken following each inspection period. Resident Assistants or University staff members will conduct an inspection each semester to ensure rooms meet fire and safety requirements and the resident(s) will be responsible to make necessary changes within one day of receipt of violation notification. If during any of the inspections mentioned above, violations of the student code of conduct are found, appropriate judicial procedures may be initiated. The University reserves the right to enter and inspect residential space at any time for maintenance needs and for reasons of health or safety.
ROOM INSPECTION. The resident agrees to allow Residence and Security staff to conduct room inspections, to ensure appropriate community hygiene and safety standards are being maintained. Save and except in situations of emergency as determined in the absolute discretion of Residence and Security staff, the resident shall be provided with at least 24-hour prior notice in writing of the intent to inspect. Residents who wish to be present during the inspection must notify the Resident Centre. Effort will be made to provide a mutually agreeable time for the inspection, however, should an agreeable time not be reached, Residence and Security staff will enter the room without the resident present. Should a room be found to not meet community hygiene/safety standards, the resident will, depending on the circumstances of the room, be given a period of time to bring the room back to acceptable standards or be advised that CCNM’s Facilities staff will be required to conduct repairs to the room, or provide notice to the resident of intent to evict.

Entry may also be made without prior notice, during normal hours, for the purpose of conducting non-emergency inspections and repairs or for the purpose of showing the premises.
ROOM INSPECTION. Xxxxxxxx Baptist University reserves the right to inspect a room or apartment at any time. A room inspection may be performed when the presence of alcohol, drugs, or other contraband is suspected. The University reserves the right to call local authorities as necessary. When an inspection is performed, the following guidelines must be followed: Two university officials, only one of whom can be a student, must perform the inspection. If found, the university official and/or police would confiscate contraband for evidence. The Xxxx of Students will be notified of the results of the inspection. Room decorations, such as pictures, pennants, and calendars may be posted only in a manner as to avoid damage to walls, doors, etc. Nails, screws, or staples are not allowed. Sticky tack is recommended. Obscene pictures or literature may not be displayed in a residence hall. Room decor may not be contrary to the values held by the University. The display of alcohol or tobacco related products are not allowed. Carpet is allowed, but may not be stuck down with tape or tacks. If carpet is put in, students are responsible for bringing a vacuum. Blinds or drapes should be closed after dark if the room is lighted. Road signs, warning flares and similar paraphernalia are not permitted in the residence hall.
ROOM INSPECTION. Please ensure that you give us a forwarding address or banking details to send your deposit once you have vacated your room. It is your responsibility to arrange with PCL Management to inspect your room.

1. GUEST HEALTH SCREENING: Agency will screen all Hotel Voucher Program Guests for symptoms of COVID‐19 by checking each Guest's temperature on a regular basis. Any Hotel Voucher Program Guests exhibiting COVID‐19 symptoms, or a fever will be quarantined, and the owner notified.
2. GUEST UNIFORM EMERGENCY HOTEL SHELTER RULES: Nonprofit will ensure that all City Guests follow the Uniform Emergency Hotel Shelter Rules including the requirement to stay confined to rooms, no congregating or utilizing the common spaces of the hotel.
ROOM INSPECTION. The resident is obliged to check the state of the room within 10 days of arrival and report every defective object or accessory, using the “Inspection form”. Each party keeps a copy of the form, which is an essential part of the present contract and helps to identify eventual damages done by the resident. Any damage caused during the stay will be charged to the resident and deducted from the deposit.

An inspection time will be provided to the Resident; however the visitation will be required to take place within the established day and time frame that has been scheduled for room inspections. Should a room be found to not meet community hygiene/safety standards, the resident will, depending on the circumstances of the room, be given a period of time to bring the room back to acceptable standards, be advised that Residence housekeeping /facilities staff will be required to conduct cleaning/repairs to the room, or provide notice to the resident of intent to evict. CCNM subscribes to the principle that Residents are entitled to enjoy a reasonable right to privacy in residence rooms. However, the resident acknowledges that CCNM Residence is entitled, without notice and without the Resident being present, to have Residence staff, Security staff, emergency services or the police to enter the room under the following conditions: (a) to provide emergency repair, that would otherwise result in significant damage to the room in question and neighboring rooms; (b) to ensure the safety and security of the Resident and/or when there is reasonable cause to believe that terms of this agreement are, and/or the law is being violated. Throughout the year, Facilities staff will inspect, repair and replace elements of the Residence in order to maintain a state of repair, complying with health, safety and fire standards required by law. If any damage/repairs are noted in the washroom, lounge, kitchen or room, please report the repair request to the Residence Centre. Housekeeping services will be provided to clean the kitchen area (not including personal Resident belongings), lounge, washrooms and hallway areas on a regularly scheduled basis. Residents must ensure all counters; sinks stoves and other appliances are cleared of any personal belongings when not using kitchen facilities.
