Safeguarding Children and Adults. 7.1 Service Providers on the DPS Approved List will be responsible for transporting some of the most vulnerable children, young people and adults in the borough, sometimes for long distances.
Safeguarding Children and Adults. The Hirer shall ensure that any activities carried out involving children (aged 18 and under) and vulnerable adults (adults deemed at risk of abuse) are properly supervised in line with all applicable laws. The Hirer is responsible for ensuring adequate and appropriate safeguarding measures are in place, including appropriate recruitment, induction and supervision of staff, volunteers and participants as well appropriate monitoring, recording and management of safeguarding concerns and incidents, actual or suspected. All safeguarding concerns and incidents must be reportedly prompted to the HMHC Duty Centre Manager in person, by telephone or email. HMHC accepts no responsibility in relation to any child or adult safeguarding concerns, incidents or allegations, actual or suspected. The management of such concerns, incidents or allegations remains the sole responsibility of the Hirer. Where appropriate, the Hirer must follow all applicable laws and working practices, including reporting to the Police or Local Authority.

  • Information Technology Enterprise Architecture Requirements If this Contract involves information technology-related products or services, the Contractor agrees that all such products or services are compatible with any of the technology standards found at xxxxx://xxx.xx.xxx/iot/2394.htm that are applicable, including the assistive technology standard. The State may terminate this Contract for default if the terms of this paragraph are breached.

  • CHILD AND DEPENDENT ADULT/ELDER ABUSE REPORTING CONTRACTOR shall establish a procedure acceptable to ADMINISTRATOR to ensure that all employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Contract report child abuse or neglect to one of the agencies specified in Penal Code Section 11165.9 and dependent adult or elder abuse as defined in Section 15610.07 of the WIC to one of the agencies specified in WIC Section 15630. CONTRACTOR shall require such employees, agents, subcontractors, and all other individuals performing services under this Contract to sign a statement acknowledging the child abuse reporting requirements set forth in Sections 11166 and 11166.05 of the Penal Code and the dependent adult and elder abuse reporting requirements, as set forth in Section 15630 of the WIC, and shall comply with the provisions of these code sections, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.

  • Abuse and Neglect of Children and Vulnerable Adults: Abuse Registry Party agrees not to employ any individual, to use any volunteer or other service provider, or to otherwise provide reimbursement to any individual who in the performance of services connected with this agreement provides care, custody, treatment, transportation, or supervision to children or to vulnerable adults if there has been a substantiation of abuse or neglect or exploitation involving that individual. Party is responsible for confirming as to each individual having such contact with children or vulnerable adults the non-existence of a substantiated allegation of abuse, neglect or exploitation by verifying that fact though (a) as to vulnerable adults, the Adult Abuse Registry maintained by the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living and (b) as to children, the Central Child Protection Registry (unless the Party holds a valid child care license or registration from the Division of Child Development, Department for Children and Families). See 33 V.S.A. §4919(a)(3) and 33 V.S.A. §6911(c)(3).

  • Cooperation of the Parties The Seller undertakes to notify the Buyer of any obstacles on his part, which may negatively influence proper and timely delivery of the Equipment.
