SAFEGUARDING POLICIES. Consultant must comply fully with the following FHI 360 policies, all of which are available on the FHI 360 Compliance Office website at xxxxx://xxx.xxx000.xxx/about-us/compliance-office). If Consultant witnesses or becomes aware of any conduct prohibited by any of these policies, Consultant must promptly report the conduct orally or in writing within 24 hours (or as soon as possible under the circumstances) to the FHI 360 Office of Compliance and Internal Audit (OCIA) by one of the following means: (1) via email at Xxxxxxxxxx@xxx000.xxx; (2) via OCIA’s Ethics and Compliance Hotline: 0-000-000-0000 in the U.S.; +1-720- 514-4400 outside the U.S.; Skype: +0-000-000-0000; or Country-specific hotline numbers listed on FHI 360’s reporting website; or (3) via OCIA’s anonymous reporting website (xxxx://xxx.xxx000.xxx/anonreportregistry). Failure to comply with this provision and/or any of the policies may result in immediate termination of this Agreement. SAFEGUARDING POLICIES. The Service Provider should take an active and assertive role in guaranteeing the safety wellbeing and quality of care for anybody receiving their care. This will ensure that all staff are appropriately trained in relevant safe guarding adult’s policies, procedures and best practice. This will include regular updates and additional training where required. The Service Provider should have a clear process for encouraging safeguarding alerts to be made and reported to the relevant safeguarding bodies and strong internal mechanisms to respond to any relevant issues associated with maintaining an individual’s safety and wellbeing and guaranteeing equality of their care.

If requested by the Authority, the Provider shall participate in the development of any local multi-agency safeguarding quality indicators and/or plan. The Provider is required to comply with the safeguarding standards set out below: • The Service will adhere to established safeguarding assessment procedures to identify vulnerable children and adults. • The Service will adhere to established safeguarding referral pathways, management and joint working practices identified within agreed multi-agency procedures as identified within the agreed West Yorkshire Multi-agency Policies for Safeguarding Adults. • Ensure that all policies and procedures are consistent with legislation / guidance in relation to Mental Capacity Act 2005 and consent, and that Staff practice in accordance with these policies. If this Agreement is funded in whole or in part with Federal contract funds, the provisions set forth in FAR 52.222-50 (Combating Trafficking in Persons) and FAR 52.222-56 (Certification Regarding Trafficking in Persons Compliance Plan) shall be applicable to this Agreement. • Protecting Program Participants from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, Consultant is prohibited from committing any form of sexual exploitation or abuse of adults or children who are served by FHI 360 programs or encounter Consultant in connection with services or activities under this Agreement. Sexual exploitation means any actual or attempted abuse of program participants that takes advantage of their position of vulnerability or trust for sexual purposes. Sexual abuse means an actual or threatened physical intrusion of a sexual nature by force or under unequal or coercive conditions. • Safeguarding of Children, Consultant is prohibited from engaging in child abuse, exploitation or neglect in its services and activities, including, without limitation, physical abuse, emotional ill-treatment, neglect or insufficient supervision, sexual abuse, exploitation through prostitution or production of pornographic materials, or com...
SAFEGUARDING POLICIES. The Provider shall adhere to the Council Safeguarding Policies which are available via the following links: xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx.xx/Care%20and%20Health/Older-People/Report- suspected-adult-abuse.aspx This Serious Incident Reporting Procedure in an interim procedure to deal with the transition of public health services from the NHS to the Council under the Health & Social Care Act 2012. The Council during the period of transition will review the Serious Incident Reporting Procedure and consider whether a multi-agency serious incident reporting procedure may be appropriate. The Provider is expected to co-operate with the Council during this time of transition. The Provider is expected to comply with this Serious Incident Reporting Procedure in respect of Serious Incidents arising in respect of the Services commissioned by the Council under this Contract. Where the Provider is a NHS Provider Organisation or a Foundation Trust the Provider must also continue to notify the Serious Incident through the Serious Incident Reporting Procedure with the Clinical Commissioning Group. The Serious Incident Reporting Procedure may be varied by the Council as part of the transition of public health services into the Council.
