Safety and Accidents. Provider shall comply with all laws and industrial safety standards. Provider shall perform the work in full compliance with applicable state and federal safety requirements including but not limited to Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, and shall assume sole and complete responsibility during the course of completion of the assignment for safety of Provider’s employees. Nothing in this Article requires Provider to be responsible for safety of the CCCSWA’s property or the CCCSWA’s personnel or the property or personnel of any third parties over which Provider has no authority or control. If a death, serious personal injury or substantial property damage occurs in connection with the performance of this Agreement, Provider shall immediately notify the CCCSWA's Executive Director by telephone.

The Contractor shall ensure safe conditions for the workers, and in the event of unsafe conditions, it shall follow the relevant operating procedures for remedial actions without delay. Such procedures shall conform to the provisions of this Agreement, Applicable Laws, Applicable Permits and Good Industry Practice.
Safety and Accidents. 17.5.1 The Concessionaire shall ensure safe conditions for the Users, and in the event of track closures and accidents, it shall follow the relevant operating procedures including the setting up of temporary traffic cones and lights, and removal of obstruction and debris without delay. Such procedures shall conform to the provisions of this Agreement, Applicable Laws, Applicable Permits and Good Industry Practice.
17.5.2 The Concessionaire's responsibility for rescue operations on the Project shall be limited to an initial response to any particular incident until such time as the competent authority takes charge and shall include prompt removal of vehicles or debris or any other obstruction, which may endanger or interrupt the smooth use of Bus Terminal.

17.5.2 The Contractor’s/Developer’s responsibility for rescue operations on the Residential Property shall be limited to an initial response to any particular incident which is otherwise not covered in the Safety Requirements, till the time competent authority takes charge.
Safety and Accidents. Section 1. All employees are required to wear clothing and footwear that does not restrict their ability to perform their job or leave them vulnerable to injury. Mechanics, maintenance, custodians and food service personnel will not be allowed to work in sandals or any other open unstructured footwear. Supervisors may set reasonable standards and requirements of dress for safety and professionalism reasons.
Section 2. When an employee is required by a supervisor to work under a condition which the employee regards as a violation of a safety rules, the employee shall have the right to protest and if ordered by the supervisor to perform the work involved, the employee shall have the right to perform the work under protest.
Section 3. If an employee who is injured not as a result of his own negligence while on the job and is required to leave the job because of such injury and is required to remain off the job by medical authority, will be paid for the whole day. The Board will pay any doctor’s fee for doctors authorized by the Board, incurred by the employee in connection with the injury.
Section 4. An employee involved in any accident shall immediately report said accident and any physical injury sustained. An employee shall make out an accident report in writing on forms furnished by the Employer and shall turn in all available names and addresses of witnesses to any accident. Failure to comply with this provision shall subject such employee to disciplinary action including discharge by the Employer.
Section 5. It is the duty of the employee and he shall immediately or at the end of his/her shift report all defects of equipment. Such report shall be made on a suitable form furnished by the Employer and shall be made in duplicate copies, one copy to be retained by the employee.
Section 6. Each building shall contain a first aid kit.
Section 7. A safety committee of employees and the Employer representatives shall be established. This committee will include the Stewards and may meet at least once per month for the purpose of making recommendations to the Employer.
Safety and Accidents. (i) give priority to safety in its construction and planning activities in order to protect life, health, property and environment;
(ii) develop, implement and administer a surveillance and safety program for the Project Facilities, the Concessionaire’s and Contractors’ labour and personnel engaged in the provision of any services under any of the Project Agreements and goods and Persons in or within the proximity of the Processing Facilities Site and Project Site(s), including correction of safety violations and deficiencies, and taking of all other actions necessary to provide a safe environment in accordance with Applicable Laws and Good Industry Practice;
(iii) take all reasonable precautions for the prevention of accidents and emergencies on or about the Processing Facilities Site and Project Site(s)/Project Facilities, including from fire, explosion, unplanned release of MSW etc. by installing fire fighting devices, alarms and communication systems and maintaining adequate water supply, safety equipment and materials at the Project Facilities. The Concessionaire shall liaison and maintain contact with Emergency response teams, hospitals, police, the fire department, taxi services etc. The Concessionaire shall provide all reasonable assistance and Emergency medical aid to accident victims;
(iv) implement the environment management plan (EMP), the Safety, Health and Environment programme (SHE) and fire protection programme in accordance with the Good Industry Practice.
