Section 16.2.2 Sample Clauses

Section 16.2.2. 35 Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first (1st) regular pay day following 36 execution of this Agreement, if possible, and in any case not later than the second (2nd) regular 37 pay day. 38
Section 16.2.2. 33 Increments (the step movement based on years of service) will be paid for each year of this 34 Agreement. 36 Salaries contained in Schedule A shall be for the entire term of this Agreement, subject to the 37 terms and conditions of Article XVII, Section 17.3. Should the date of execution of this 38 Agreement be subsequent to the effective date, salaries, including overtime, shall be retroactive 39 to the effective date. 40
Section 16.2.2. 43 Generallly, employees changing positions within their general job classification will be paid at 44 the step reflecting their longevity within that general job classification. Any employee who 45 changes general job classifications shall be placed on the first step of the new pay level that 46 provides the employee a five (5%) percent wage increase. Schedule A
Section 16.2.2. 11 If the grievance or concern is not resolved to the employee's satisfaction within five (5) work 12 days in accordance with the preceding subsection, the employee shall have ten (10) work days 13 to file in writing a statement of the grievance containing the following. 15 A. The facts on which the grievance is based; 16 B. A reference to the provisions in this agreement which have been allegedly violated; and 17 C. The remedy sought. 19 The employee shall submit the written statement of grievance to his/her immediate supervisor 20 for reconsideration and shall submit a copy to the superintendent. The parties will have ten 21 (10) days from submission of the written statement of grievance to resolve it by indicating on 22 the statement of grievance the disposition. If an agreeable disposition is made, all parties to the 23 grievance shall sign it.
Section 16.2.2. 29 If the grievance is not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction in accordance with the preceding 30 subsection, the employee shall reduce to writing a statement of the grievance containing the 31 following: 33 A. The facts on which the grievance is based; 35 B. A reference to the provisions in this Agreement which have been allegedly violated; and 37 C. The remedy sought. 39 The employee shall submit the written statement of grievance to the immediate supervisor for 40 reconsideration and shall submit a copy to the official in the Administration responsible for 41 personnel within ten (10) workdays of the discussion with the immediate supervisor. If the 42 employee wishes, the employee may be accompanied by an Association representative at this 43 step and any subsequent discussions or meetings. The parties will have ten (10) workdays from 44 submission of the written statement of grievance to resolve it. A written statement indicating the 45 disposition of the grievance shall be furnished to the aggrieved. If an agreeable disposition has 46 been made, the aggrieved party shall terminate the grievance in writing within ten (10) workdays.
Section 16.2.2. 22 Bargaining unit employees hired as a substitute for employees on leave (other than a leave of 23 absence, Section 9.7) shall be compensated at the first (1st) step of the higher classification.
Section 16.2.2. 30 If the grievance is not resolved to the employee's satisfaction in accordance with the preceding 31 subsection, the employee shall reduce to writing a statement of the grievance containing the 32 following: 34 A. The facts on which the grievance is based; 35 B. A reference to the provisions in this Agreement which have been allegedly violated; and 36 C. The remedy sought. 38 The employee shall submit the written statement of grievance to the District Superintendent or 39 the Superintendent’s designee for reconsideration and shall submit a copy to the official in the 40 Administration responsible for personnel. The parties will have five (5) workdays from 41 submission of the written statement of grievance to resolve it by indicating on the statement of 42 grievance the disposition. If an agreeable disposition is made, all parties to the grievance shall 43 sign it. 44
Section 16.2.2. 7 Employees shall be paid in accordance with the rates on Schedule A. For the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 8 school years, the base wage rates on Schedule A shall be increased by the state-funded inflationary 9 adjustment as described in RCW 28A.400.205 (IPD) or two percent (2%), whichever is greater.
Section 16.2.2. During the 2015-16 school year, the base wage rates specified in Schedule A shall be improved 28 by state-funded classified employee percentage increases in salaries in the month they become 29 effective (“state pass-through”) plus an additional 1.25% for custodial positions. During the 30 2016-17 school year, the base wage rates specified in Schedule A shall be improved by state- 31 funded classified employee percentage increases in salaries in the month they become effective 32 (“state pass-through”) plus an additional 0.75% for custodial positions. If the state decides to 33 fund classified employee salary increases in any manner other than the percentage increase 34 method used in the past, the District and the Association shall meet to negotiate the manner in 35 which the increases are to be applied to the salary schedule rates.
Section 16.2.2 movement shall be on the anniversary of the employee’s hire date. If the anniversary of 3 the employee’s hire date falls after the monthly payroll cutoff, the step increase shall be applied 4 in the following month, retroactive to the anniversary date.
